GP2 Washouts. F1 Washouts. Im not sure who all from Peugeot still doesn't have a drive. Anthony Davidson perhaps?

Red LED's around the headlamps? Why?

Isn't the #3 a Diesel-only car? I thought the 1 and 2 were the Hybrids.

With regard to Aston Martin... Why did they start up a whole new GT program? I'm going to assume that the engine in the AMR-One was legal to the regulations. Take that out of it, and then put it in one of the Lola Chassis that was doing fairly well toward the end of the year. Aero-wise, put the Shark fin on the back (May be easier said than done), and fix anything else that needs changing. Return to the top of the Petrol-powered cars, and then wait for the diesels to be handed another restriction.

I guess the red LED's is just used to differentiate between the Diesel and Hybrid but why red? I don't know. Perhaps it's easy for the spectators to see. And no, the #3 is a Hybrid while the #1 and #2 are Diesels... Surely they won't take the risk of running 2 yet-unknown-car to race..

But the #1 is to be piloted by the winning crew from last year at Le Mans, and the #2 by Kristinsen, Capello, and McNish. And they were going to get the Hybrids, i thought.

Edit: Yeah, it says in the Entry list that McNish and Lotterer are in the 1 and 2, which are the hybrids. Dumas and Olivier Jarvis are in the Diesels.

Actually, I wasn't really sure what car numbers they're on neither what numbers the hybrids are, but I've just rechecked and they're running 4 cars in total.

#1 and #2 are Hybrids and #3 and #4 are Diesels. Terribly sorry for the initial confusion.

I won't be surprised the lap records at this years le mans shatter last years. The e tron r18 was around two seconds quicker at Sebring.

Shoot I won't be surprised if the hybrid cars are clocked in at 215+ mph down mulsanne.

Is the ALMS sharing the track with IndyCars? Both series apparently have a Long Beach race this weekend!

Like every year for a while now. One is Saturday, one is Sunday. They also have a celebrity race this weekend. I saw a similar shared weekend at Mid-Ohio once. One ticket, two events.

Yep, one of two (or three?) companion events.

Sorry, it's my own fault for not doing enough research first! I didn't realise ESPN3 was more than just a channel. I'm struggling to find a stream here so I'll just need to find something else to do while waiting for F1 practice/qualifying.

So it's dry-ish for GTC, and then it starts to pour for GT. They talk about how theres a slim chance they could have a GT or GTC on pole if it gets worse.

Sucks for JDX pretty hard. From my point of view, Qualifying shouldnt be stopped. Who can do the fastest time? If you wreck, that sucks. Just dont wreck.

Im not sure. They keep saying that there will be Green Flag Running, so I'm guessing they canceled GT because they declared it a "Dry" quali at the beginning. My guess is that the LMP's will get to run under "Wet" Quali rules.

Edit: Wow, nope. Starting will be determined by Points classification for everyone.

ABC isn't covering the ALMS race today are they? It's the only channel I can get in Canada. Looks like I'll have to watch a live stream again like I did for Sebring.
