Just heard about Peugoet leaving (I've been out of the country for a while with no internet whatsoever..). Hopefully the new equivalence rules mean the other teams (maybe the DBR1-2s if they keep going or the Pescarolo) can fight with the Audis and potentially the Toyotas. Last year's race was an epic and am hoping for another close one this year.

Would also like to add my name to the growing list of those confused at the 'Deltawang'

Aston Lola DBR1/2s aren't allowed anymore (I do know someone wanted a new chassis with wide fronts, fender holes and fins to stick the I6 turbo in but Prodrive wanted too much money....) and Pescarolo apparently has a new car or two ready for WEC and Le Mans.

Likely to be the same tired old chassis he's always had just with the necessary mods and engine to make it legal...would be nice if he got a Wirth coupe or something to replace his current chassis.

Philips will probably be TOYOTA's title sponsor. Car's nickname. "The Philishaver"

PS - Credit due to MazdaPrice, author of the original synapse linking this car to a domestic appliance :)

Name makes sense given the last two prototypes christened with the TS0 Nomenclature.

Now the question is, when are we getting video of this car?

Overall I think this car (with the exception of the headlights) is very nice to look at.

Now the question is, when are we getting video of this car?

I see what looks like a GoPro camera in the car, so we should within a few days.

I'm glad they are calling it the TS030. It's the only name that would have made sense really.

I think it looks pretty good in a sort of quirky way.

Apart from the razor lights and possibly the fin (tbf it looks better on this than most cars) I think it looks great, much more appealing than the Audi..

Good looking car 👍 I wish it were like the older one though. What is this Grand-Am? All the cars are looking somewhat similar!
Sadly, I think they are falling into the F1 trap of having so many regulations that they all look the same.

Its not the regulations. Its the design itself! The reason the cars look similar is because that actually is the best aerodynamic configuration.

If you look back to the Aston AMR-1 that they made, that car was a brick wall at high speed. It had so much drag with its horrific(Unique) aero package...

The reason the front end of the Toyota looks like the Peugeot is because thats the least drag and most downforce configuration. Peugeot and Audi are doing aero to maximize downforce/reduce drag. Naturally that leads to the optimized same design.

FML nitrorocks can you please stop quoting posts when you're posting directly after...I don't need to scroll past the same images twice!

Like a good soup however the plot has thickened over the 908...
