I hope GT5 has neons and livery editor, I would have prefered this than damage. I hope the people who wanted damage use it and enjoy it.

uhh, honestly, why? Neon is one thing that should never be in GT.

All joking aside.. i really dont want neons, seriously tell me one time you've seen neon underlighting in a race, other than street racing..
 
And yet neons have already been in GT, the Skyline D1GP had them in GT4.

Polls and surveys are by definition a measure of a small sample to ascertain a general opinion. So yes, it's relevant, and GT Planet is a good place to get a feel for what the GT community feels, and PD keeps an eye on forums and on ours in particular.

This was already done to death both of the Rewind threads. Suffice to say, a low-numbers poll on a fan community message board is practically the definition of "small reference pools," and therefore is quite irrelevant. Just because a majority of a poll on a fanbase website wants something doesn't mean that a majority of the people who actually buy the game want something, because the poll essentially represents the majority of the overall minority.
 
I think neons are a vital part of racing, with the proven power gains on dynos and increased cornering abilities:)
Seriously though I hate neons, but it would not bother me if they were included, it would be interesting to see how many people would actually use them. I think it would be fun racing someone in a really distastful car, Would you not try harder to beat him?

Britcar 24 hour race at Silverstone, many of the car's went over-board with those annoying little blue LED type neon things.. can't find the pics now, but at 3 am it was suprisingly useful for telling who was who!
 
If they left out everything that someone did not like in GT there would be nothing in the game. There is always someone that hates something. I don't want VW Audi in GT, so I just don't use them.

Yes, you're right aparently .. had to see that for myself tho, i saw a couple of clips of the britcar 24 hour race before, but i have to admit i never saw neon lights. :rolleyes:

On that yellow integra? It looks like it's only in the back, guessing so he can be seen better.

There is one better use for those neon bars you usually stick under a Vauxhall Corsa that may have been impounded...

"Sir, today the fanatics think..." Yeah, fan site polls are a special gauge, and while having their importance, can't be taken as a reference for what makes a good and fun game. Whenever I forget this, I remember 2 things:

1. Sim Games (not for general consumption, but I like them)

...hey maybe the "delayed" release date means they are listening and will include a fantastic livery editor. At this point, who knows?
 
quick question when playing forza offline with a customized car are the AI cars customized ot stock cause i think it will not look realistic to have a customized car against 15 other stock cars but i really want this feature any way and i agree with Hornet burnout
