Dodgetheviper, I've raced you many times before a long time ago. No you don't get any upgrades on 7, but at level 8 you get boost, weight, and port. Oh and every car is different so my tuning settings won't help you at all.

You don't actually race people. It goes on the pending list if they accept your race. Once the race processes at the time it says they will take place, you can either win, lose, or tie.
If you win, you will gain money (if bet) and/or you will gain models (if they have any that wants to leave). If you bet money, you will gain exp from the race. If you race people offline, the race processes immediatly. You cannot race for money while offline though. You cannot race people with less than 50% of your networth if they are offline.

EDIT: Also, I don't seem to be getting any more EXP from racing Julie...did they change it so you have to race different people, because I get no EXP percent for racing her anymore...

You should race lots of people, and if you win most of your races, they eventually get higher and higher happiness levels.

Do NOT race Julie. She is only level 1, therefore will almost give you nothing. If you can get people to race YOU and you WIN, you will get exp.
