Hey roj, nice job with the NSX-R. Although you made me spend 125000cr buying it!! :grumpy::p:lol:

I'll tell you mate, the natural acceleration is what's got me in that car. With TCS off I managed to get a 12.1 on S3's on the 1/4!! Not too shabby at all. ;) This should be the quickest by far and 3/4 the reason you have such a good T1 time. :)

I think I should've stuck the snail on the Silvia, I would've put competitive times compared to ya. :D

Cr.125,000 is nothing (isnt it actualy Cr.119,570?), thats 1 Capri session :p

Hehe, I'd say its half the reason, afterall, I have tuned it extensively. :sly:

Fat chance. :p

The judging has begun.
(especially since I'm expecting every tuner to step up and speak for their product .v other tuner creations). Have fun!

i think i want to, but my cars may just won't live up to the judges' expectations.., :nervous::scared:

Whoever said I was looking for the best motoring private discussion upstairs was right on... However, it's going to be way more than three of us (especially since I'm expecting every tuner to step up and speak for their product .v other tuner creations). Have fun!

Haha, so I did get it right, finally, I've been waiting for an oppurtunity like this to show up

nd 4 holden spd, got a question on your 3000GT (I know 4WD isn't in testing now but Im working on getting all the car's in now before its too late)

Are you sure its a 3000GT SR model ?, I can't find any such thing in-game or in my official game guide, did you re-name the car like others by chance ?

(Also, anyone care to fill me in on what happened with that pdxb guy ?, never got the chance to see if he had the stuff to reply to my last post, even though I doubt he did)

maybe N4HS meant 3000GT SL, not SR..,

that pdxb guy, huh?? haven't seen him around lately..,

It's called 3000GT SR in PAL. Just look in my description. It's the naturally aspirated model. So just get the 1998 naturally aspirated 3000GT, whatever it may be called in your version. (Which is? Maybe I can look at the car lists and help if you're still confused)

Edit: I have read this right? Judges don't have to comment on how the cars felt in default settings or grade improvement (meaning people who chose better cars won't be downsized for it)? This is much less work now, although I will drive them that way just to be sure the tuner hasn't made the car worse (generally almost never happens anyway)

Just so any judges are aware, my Accord has a displacement upgrade listed. IGNORE IT. It was left on there by accident. The Accord cant actually get that upgrade, and will still make 275bhp. I got a PM about it so I thought I might as well say it here.

Sorry for the confusion.

This is more of the sort of thing I really don't like to see (along with ideas like standing starts, phantom markers, and racing tire comparison cars). We've all made simple mistakes like these so I don't count it as a big deal.
However, I strongly suggest you only test the touge monsters (as directed) and the tuner only as specified (also directed).

In this case, stock vs tuned, I'd say the biggest problem is recognizing the demand for the product and meeting that demand. With cars like the NSX (difficult to drive MR), stock form will feel great and a tuned car will be difficult to tune well. However, even a tuned car that doesn't feel as good as the original stock car may perform far beyond what the original was capable of doing. With the NSX, this is a very distinct possibility since the stock car would never have 35 second T1s. Tuned though, the NSX can make those 35, 36s without necessarily feeling as good as the stock car.

Apply this question to the competition...
NSX without stock comparison: Just another competitor being graded only on the product provided for the contest.
NSX with stock comparison: The NSX gets a dis-advantage because the original product is so good compared to the competition (that is to say compared to cars like Silvias, S2Ks, etc.).

So with all that in mind, please try to just test as the rules suggest.

Kent, do we grade the cars against the Touge Monsters? As in set a score where the Touge Monster sits, with higher scores being nicer, lower scores being worse?

I have the NTSC version, and there are so many 3000GT's that I honestly have no clue which one is Naturally aspirated :nervous:, So I will definately need help picking it out

Also, just an update on my testing, well...., um its been post-poned for the weekend :indiff:, the nasty side of life has pretty much just taken 2/3rds of the weekend, with the last third for the essentials (eating, sleeping, etc)

Hopefully after school Mon. I can get testing back in gear and still have enough time to learn the cars in-side and out. 👍

Wow im not doing well so far in the FF challenge. I had alot of faith in the 206 but hopefully we will get some more opinions in soon. If all fails I still have alot of faith in the E46. :scared:

No, and I suggest you look over the judges post as well as all the other appropriate replies as I specifically covered that exact question in the original post.
All is good, I don't mind clearing it up but I encourage you to look into reading everything necessary as to fully inform yourself before you act.

Yeah, seriously, take a look at that stuff... I just looked at what you did in the Judge thread and I didn't see any 0-100 scores, I saw a handful of awards (none of which were labeled as the only award I mention "the special award") and all of it was out of the order I asked (first the post with scores and any special award nominees, then the justifications and elaborations on the scores). (is elaborations a real word? )

If this is any indication of what's to come then I'm worried because from what I've seen it looks like people aren't reading any of the directions I've posted. :(

Hey RJ are you sure you got the LSD spec right because Ive got no wheelspin at all on my vers. of the 206.

Wait.... I did post the T1s and 0-100s.... The first reply to the thread...

And I'll correct the award crap too.

Sorry.

EDIT: Fixed. Will recheck the 206 shortly.

Im sorry my LSD specs may be confusing. The entry spec states "LSD (default)", and it should say FC LSD (default settings). Im sorry for the confusion, I though I stated it was an FC LSD in the comment.

Hey RJ are you sure you got the LSD spec right because Ive got no wheelspin at all on my vers. of the 206.

This is why you need a parts to buy list- plain and simple. Do you have a purchased LSD or not, because in your postsyou just said a default LSD, which to me means no LSD purchased.

@ Kent: I whole heartedly agree, judging improvement puts good cars at a disadvantage (didn't I say that?). I will judge each car for what it is, and not what it was. (Like I said, less work now :D)

Edit: Nevermind, I typed too slow, 206 has a FC LSD, got it.

Yes RJ, that sounds more like it... Im sorry for the confusion this mistake wont happen again. :dunce:

Hehe, the thing has made me retest everyone else because I realized where I was losing most of my time in it... It's still blazing quick...

I hope so, it was really fun to drive for me but I had a feeling that the judges would be better drivers and bring out the full potential of it. I havent spent that much time on Citta so it shows.

Kent: Is it possible for you to fix my confusing error on my orginal entry post?

man, my Spoon EK9's not good enough.., to be honest, the gearings were a problem.., RJ, are you sure wheelspin was up to 4th gear?? i think you might be exaggerating, i only had mine up to 2nd..,

It would spin them through third easily, so I call that "up to" fourth. And it did light them in fourth on a few occasions as well.

Oh, and new results up.

Or RJ maybe you can make a note of my mistake on your review.., I have a feeling that this is going to confuse more people.

Sorry boys, my modem went down yesterday and couldn't get online until now.

1) CZ-3 ratios, it's tranny trick to 5.500, set ratios on autoset 3 from memory then final of 5.100.

2)Primera was same, tranny trick, then autoset 7 and back to final ratio.
