look, his opinion is different from yours, and all you guys need to do is prove why you think so. as I said earlier, it's just a game, and it's ridiculous, not to mention childish to pull tantrums for it.

Who's chucking a tantrum? I'm standing up for my opinion. He's the one who's car got a bad review and then started crying about it. Someone has to lose, and I posted the effects of what spawed the bad review for anyone now to go and experience it themselves.

My side of it: The Peugeot suits my driving style the best out of them by far, the others have minor (or major) niggles that keep them off the top spot, IE wrcsti's car feeling decent, but somehow not putting it together, or Roj's car being slightly unpredictable.

It seems to be (for me) the most well-rounded of the cars presented after the LSD was equipped. Before hand, it was not. Leo's car was admirably quick and decent handling, but was too prone to wheelhop (note I don't say spin) and too understeery to truly be "fun".

In fact, N4HS, the ONLY problem with your Accord is that it doesn't corner QUITE as well as some of the competition. It's not much, but it's just enough for me to keep it away from the top spot. (2-3 mph per corner)

I do believe that the area where the Peugeot shines the most is the 70-80mph right (the first braking-required corner past the start-finish) and the following tight left. The Pug just seems to stick through the first corner on the inside if you get the turn-in point correct. Then the left can be taken at nearer 50 or above compared to 40 (for the bad ones) to 46 (for the decent) (50 flat for the Kusabi).

I'm sorry if you see it another way, but would you be willing to further explain upon where it understeers/is unresponsive for you?

Do TCs usually go like this? I mean dude my car just got ONE single judges vote over someone else's and look what happens. Were still in the first category and its like the second day.

nd4: Dude no ones arguing with you, were in my post history does it seem like im crying. Your description of the car seemed totally off so I thought it was pretty weired, and also it came in last behind everyone else, but thats fine. Youve insulted my car I have not done the same to yours. It in fact seems like your angry and throwing a tantrum. I remember everything being fine until my car took the podium. Thats all im saying dude, just my thoughts on the situation. And those of you observing please dont say "you guys calm down" because I have nothing to do with one single person getting angry because something didnt go there way.

That fault of mine could almost be attributed to size, not as much room to move for the large Accord. My problem with the pug was the sweeper before the hairpin, didn't do a thing I told it there.

No, normally people accept it if their car gets a bad review. Besides, if everyone agrees that your car is better (which I doubt anyway) then you will get 1st, it's all up to Kent, not the total scores.

Yea but do you usually insult people and there projects also? With comments like that it still just seems you have your nose stuck in the air and your a into the drama. Would you really be able to cope if my car got good reviews from all the judges? I mean honestly you seem like, if it doesnt go your way everyone else has to have a bad day with you. You have stated that your car WILL win. Ive always said that theres know way for me to know if I will be the victor so its not like im being overconfident or arrogant. I just know the car like the back of my hand (I tuned it) and for someone to insult it.., Well, need I say more?

We can most likely chalk that one up to differences in driving style... Was it the left-hand sweeper or the right-hand? Can't remember which you said.

Car should be willing if you just crack off the throttle if it's the right-hander leading into the hairpin, if it's the long left then turn in a little earlier with a quick crack off the gas. 👍

Look back, you are the one who started crying about getting some negative results. I've had negative results in the past challenges and not been worried. So the question is, will you go around making accusations and trying to upset people every time someone picks a fault on your car?
Oh, and please quote me where I said I will win. I'd really like to see that.
If someone finds faults on my car I didn't notice that's fine. Helps me get better in the future.

The left hander required no lift at all, and the car didn't respond to lift in the right-hander hence the negative review. I drove it again before and no difference.

This is why I wish Kent would've left it at approved judges only, because then there'd be no chance for Tuner-specific bias to show up, with a few un-biased judges running only, I've got the time to test all the cars, I just take my time with them to really know them

Just wait until Wed. or Thur. before chopping someone's head off, I'll have a completly un-biased review for everyone then

Also, I've seen some competitor's changing settings and such, I printed all the settings off yesterday before changes were made, now to ensure judging remains fair for everyone, I need a list of any approved changes made by Kent himself that I may need to make, If he hasn't allowed such to happen, then I will test the cars as is

(Also, just for future reference, text-based setup's work better for judges)

@ Kurei about changes to setups: It is impossible for us to edit the setup sheets in any way, shape, or form, as the setup thread is locked. Instead, two people have REQUESTED to make changes to their setup sheets, Snyp requesting to fix a gearing bug and Soprano asking to correct lost power.

(Snyp also wants to add in a few suspension changes, which I'm completely against as they could very well be new developments).

Any and all changes occurred on the 20th, therefore ALL changes compared to your printed sheets are LEGAL.

Ah, ok, I'm just trying to be as fair as possible to everyone for this event, so I didn't want to make a move only to have someone chase after me with a flame-thrower

I should be able to get back to testing today, and get initial scores written down

Kurei I understand were your coming from. Ididnt want any actual settings changed, just the things that may have confused some. I think it will be neccessary because I got a few PMs from people trying to clarify the parts list. Thats all, I just wanted it to be less confusing and make sure there 206 is exactly like mines.

Alright guys, I need specifics of what needs to be changed.
I will change anything I can. However, I can't say I'm happy about this... More and more directions and replies I've made come to light as being ignored. :irked:

So, one last time, what needs to be changed (and be as specific as possible).

Also, I'm glad to see some of you guys easing up on the back and forth knowing the final results and decisions will be left in my hands. Further, I haven't seen too much in the way of detailed explanations of poor scores.
Further, if you are a tuner judging, I almost expect you to rate your own car first. 👍
It should be best in your eyes since you tuned it! However, if you know a car feels better (so much better you can tell you need to improve your own design) then be a good sport and rate the car accordingly. 👍

That's it for now.

Soprano's 206 needs clarification on the LSD (Replace "LSD (Default)" with "FC LSD" and needs the semi-racing exhaust added to the parts list.

Snyp needs to give us his proper fourth and fifth gear ratios. Of course, the problem is compounded in his case by the fact that he used a picture, I'd recommend that someone coverts it all to text.

I dislike the thought of him updating the suspension however, for reasons previously stated.

Also, I agree on the suspension and extend that feeling to the gears. Unless the gears listed are impossible (numbers not availible) or clearly mistaken (such as moved in an illogical and obviously mistaken way) then I would say no to the changes.

I warned everyone clearly about changes before the deadline (and most of you took note and acted).
Changes at this point should be about mistakes in presentation or translation.

Further, I hope this is a lesson to anyone who didn't put in as much work as the judges will be putting into this event.
Beyond that, I also hope this serves as an eye opener regarding the attention paid to the event setup. "We" have been working on creating the ideal tuner challenge for a long time now. The format has changed, the rules are refined, the timing and structure are always considered with serious thought. When we put in time and effort of that nature to have people coast by, not paying attention to the basics, I find the organizers to be insulted and generally under appreciated.

This event has been better than past events.
In the past it was nearly impossible to get a good, simple presentation of the tuners, this time around there are many more easily understood tuner presentations (although I find there is always room for improvement).

I'm looking into the changes.
I'm very pleased with the attendance of this event.
I'm very happy to be involved here.

However, I'm also hoping everyone will do their best to seriously read over each presentation (both my own and the tuners) and act appropriately without any unrequested behavior (such as the standing starts).

This sort of event doesn't need to be difficult.

Yes my specs say LSD (default) and it was meant to be (full custom LSD with default settings) and also the Semi-Racing Exhaust was not listed but the hp rating (224) made it obvious to see that I forgot to list something. Once again sorry for the confusion...

Thanks RJ.

The changes to Snyp's gearing would be fixing a glitch with 4th and 5th, where the ratios he stated should be set as 4th and 5th are actually the 5th and 6th he had been using.

However, we need him to give the corrected 4th gear ratio.

Thought I'd give everyone waiting for results a heads up. Mine should be in at some point tomorrow; I'll be putting in links to videos of the runs, though I don't know if I'll do them all.. if anyone in particular wants to see theirs then let me know.

Well be sure to follow the directions to judging.
I'd hate to see your work go to waste simply because you couldn't properly post the information and commentary. 👍
I'll be looking forward to your work. :D

I went to do some testing and bought all the cars (didn't modify the parts yet). Got to that darned Kusabi and had to run all the B licenses again on a new clean memory card (you can only win the Kusabi once).
So with that in mind, I got a good bit of practice on FF driving (in the B license), a good idea of where I stand as a driver (silver on everything was easy and usually only took one or two attempts), and last but not least, I found a basic rule for all challenges to come (more than likely). :sly:

No worries there, I basically wrote out an application to be a judge before things changed and I've done way too many laps in the "touge monster".

As will I. I expect an excellent Arab Drift (c) video from my car. :D

I really should have entered my other DC5, an RSX.

I'll take that as a hint that you want to see a replay for your car, consider it done 👍

I'll try to gather motivation to finis what I started. due open office's crash, I lost most of my work done this far.. :ouch: oh well.. no pain, no gain.. at east I have all cars..
