Being that your EG6 has a 4.1 pwr and the spoon has a 4.6 pwr I'd say your EG6 is neither faster or more nimble. :sly:

Generally speaking though, this event is going to be very interesting for me. I've got several cars I'm really looking forward to testing.

Whatever the case, I thought 40.454 was rather impressive coming from the Spoon Integra.

Blame the lightweight of the EG6 for the pwr. But it is more nimble! However, I feel I must at least make the EG6 faster than the DC2 at this point, so back I go! :dopey:

At this point I'm interested in seeing how other cars can do in my hands (since I'm not in the contest as a tuner I'm really going to spend some time pushing these cars to their limits) (from day one of the judging too!). :trouble:
 
Is this were we can show our times for TCv3. Im sorry but its hard to keep up for me with the page number growing so fast. I was going to post my times on my entry list at 11:50pm tonight. Should I post here to? Or just in the TCv3 thread?

The Civic is more nimble by nature, being smaller and lighter. ;)

Althought its too slow to really make use of it, I cant make it go faster afterall. 👎

Just wanted to come here and tell you all about a little car called the spoon integra. :sly:
I've tuned one...
Basically, I've replaced anything I needed to replace (lsd, suspension, etc) and left the pwr at stock with oil. So it runs as the Touge Monster from TCv3 with custom settings. 👍
4 consecutive laps after the tuning finished...
L1: 1'45.?
L2: 1'45.6 (T1:41.0)
L3: 1'45.0 (T1:40.8)
L4: 1'44.091 (T1: 40.454)
L5: Incomplete

This is from a combination of tuning elements but should go to show what kind of improvements can be done with the Spoon Integra (stock was running me between 1'46 and 1'47). :eek:

Hope that serves to encourage you all with fine tuning the product and not just the power. :sly:

Btw, that's still not going to be an entry or anything (I'm not actually entering the contest with any tuned cars).

*quickly checks Primera times* Considering I'm such a crap driver at Citta, I don't know where I'll stack up with this. :sick: I'm infront of the Spoon on track, but not with those low figures. Besides, that Spoon Integra was such a boat stock I'm glad you've tuned it Kent to give us a realistic ballpark to aim into.
I wonder how you'll go with the S2K & R34.
 
You can forget the Civic, guys. After bumping into an old tune of mine, I think I'll be making a last minute car swap.

But its still red, and its still a Honda. :sly:

Well, don't let my news of the Spoon ITR put anyone off from using their car of choice. The ITR isn't part of the competition and I'm not going to pull any funny stuff either (atleast I don't have any planned :lol: ).

As for the S2K and GTR, I'm not sure about those right now. I haven't done much testing with them lately although I may put in some time with the GTR. The Amuse R1 on the other hand is pretty much perfect in stock form... Simply add power without changing anything and you'll still have a standard that not many if any tuners can match (although few would admit such a thing). :dopey:

Btw, keep in mind fellas... I'll have the chance to put down times with all the cars, so expect to see good times (unless I can't match what you all are doing in testing). Point is, I might be able to make one of your cars do better than what you expect (of course I might be worse than some of you as well :ouch: ).

Whatever the case is when we get to testing, let's not forget the basics of the contest. Further, don't get ahead of yourselves. I've still got to release the judges list and the final directions for judging, scoring, and grading. :sly:

so cause everyones speaking times i just want to wonder what competition im in here for the RWD class.
my BTR runs consecutive low 38's or high 37's with a record at 37.1 at a "perfect" run; didnt do 1 mistake, took every corner perfectly, kept it straight for most of the run.
 
Ouch. My Rexy can run mid-36s with me behind the wheel, and much quicker with someone willing to push it driving it.

I will update Focus and S-Tune within an hour. mainly minor things like gearing for acceleration/grip etc..

My new Honda is written up, still tweaking though.

and the updates are done. S-Tune is now solid low 35 T1/ 1'30 overall car. may the Forced Induction be with the NismoZilla. And the St170 has nothing to worry. FF classes touge monster is a small dot in the mirror.

Just about to post the new car now. Constant 41s in my hands, but I'm not the best driver so, it should be faster than the Spoon in the judges hands. 👍

i dont like to test my competitioons cars to make it fair. but what ever floats your boat.

I think the Amuse R1 stock will run something like 38s on the first session (faster is possible). The R-tune is about the same but that's a different league. :lol:
The Spoon is nothing spectacular stock, I had a hard time establishing a touge monster for the FF class (it was either the Spoon ITR, CTR, or TRD Celica).
In the end we may see Touge Monsters but I'm not making plans on battles until the judging has been finished. :sly:

Btw, the Trial Celica was also a contender for FF... 300hp, 1140kg, 1'45.0 laps, forgotten the T times. :ouch:

One reason I sided against the Trial Celica is because of my belief that FF cars should run in the "proper" race structures... "All FF," "Less than 300hp," "PWR more than 4.5," and a few other odd ideals that don't really matter but apply well to GT4.
Think about what a 300hp 1140 FR can do... Should FF really play in that game? I say no. :p
Keep FF in a league of its own generally speaking and only run against the RWD and AWD entries on "even" terms (which is where the limitations I mentioned above come into play).

Sorry, sounding a little crazy with this stuff. :dunce:
 
So Kent, I see your the type of driver who likes to get as much out of the car as you can, I guess its a common trait of seasoned drivers :sly:

Also, This whole "big news about judging" thing, it wouldn't involve chatrooms of some sort would it ? :D, I get the vibe your a BMI fan and like the whole "3 judges around a table upstairs in the track's main tower discussing the cars" scene

Then again I could be completly off :scared:

Your right Mafs, I tried the Honda Today G, and managed a 30 second flat T1. I thought it was too good to enter into TCv3. :sly:

Besides, I think its better this way, 4 door battle! 1st challenge, whos boot is biggest! 💡

well ive seen others joke around just a tad bit to much and get warnings, but this guy goes all out disrespectful and no one even notices? Just saying. Im not one to complain any how I just dont like ignorance.

You know, my Accord Coupe is actually starting to give me confidence. I thought Snyp was going to enter one also but he seems to have disappeared :guilty:
