To really challenge some o you, i may request you doing a pixel car (not a KK one) of one of my designs
but that's temporarily not available..

however i would like to see and Audi R8 Road car (stock Silver), AND the Race Car (red, not the yellow), and a new lotus Elise ( Yellow, please). i can edit stuff but i haven't really tried making a pixel car before. i'm not used to working with jagged edges

 

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

This car started out as an attempt to be my best base, but I slowly lost motivation to finish. The side was done first and I was very proud of it when I was done, then not too soon after I did the front and a after a fair amount of time I did the rear, it's obvious how long it took with the difference in shading styles. I tried to keep the shading the same, but it just didn't work out. Still, I'm pretty happy with what I've done. I'd like to thank Rodrigo for letting me use his base of the same car as reference, I also took his headlights, so I hope he doesn't mind! Oh and I think the front fender is a modified version of Anton's from his 300ZX. I'd also like to thank that team which has gotten gayer (literally gay) over the past few weeks, we can't talk without hitting on each other. Thanks to who ever commented on the car.

Since STR cancelled his fleet on the Pixel Car Forum, as some people don't have any patience and consideration. So I asked the man himself if it would be okay to post my tune and well, the thread is here so obviously he approved.

Originally this tune was a pretty interesting and a bit of an experiment from me, it started off with a 240Z front end, but I came to the conclusion (with the help of others C&C) that it wasn't quite working, so that part was removed. So Instead I went for the same ol' "JDM" style. The front bumper is pretty much an updated version of the one I did on an S13 Silvia I made a while ago and other parts are based from that car, stole the colour from the same car too, so just consider this a twin car.

I'd like to thank everyone who helped me out in the process and a big thank you to Anton and STR who gave me, along with many others to chance to fiddle with this great base.

For those who are interested, this is how it did look.

I've been working on this car for ages now, I tried making a few different liveries, but I got fustrated with them turning out horribly (actually, one was looking great, but I knew it would go wrong at some point), so I decided to just go for a plain body. I'd like to thank Twizm for his help, especially for fixing up the tail lights and Rodrigo for his headlights. The original base is by Alex, which I reshaded as I tuned. I'd also like to thank anyone else who gave me C&C. Anyway, I'm happy with the end result, even if there is no paintjob.

a couple of years ago when i was 15 i decided to make up a line of imaginary cars. i started off with a honda civic and i completely changed it, and came up with this.

it has a whole range of cars from the standard 3 door hatch to the convertible, then it has a range of racing prepared models, and sport models, and then some modified versions.

by the way the whole thing was done in ms paint

They are very nice Timmibob but I know nothing about manga cars.

How do I make Manga cars(like what program do I use and maybe how to actually do them).Thanks in advance

 

Most people use MS Paint or Photoshop. Basically just grab a base car (just a standard non-tuned car) and modify it yourself with the line tool. Go to the Official Pixel Car forum where there's plenty of base cars and helpful tutorials.

 

Do I have to buy Paintshop? or is it not like GIMP?And what is lowest you would go for Photoshop?

 

Just use GIMP

 

No. Paint is available on every Windows computer, under accessories... somewhere. Unless you use a Mac, like me, then you will have to acquire Photoshop.

Perhaps the font I put on that bunch of wheels wasn't a good choice. I've seen my name credited as Jack "Dlyde" a lot.

I used to be into making these pixel/manga cars for a while. Mostly doing scaled. Here's some of what I did.

the beef I've always had this these drawings is that most people set the ride height ridiculously low that it looks silly almost.

 

LOL, I guess it's the style. The furthest I lower mine is a "pixel" from the ground. So many people have the frame sitting on the gound.
