Thx for positive feedback.
I've used the Lineart filter Hiryuu SC mentioned before with Corel Photo Paint 11. I used that filter on a duplicated layer of the background picture. Then adjusted the intensity of the background to match the lightness to my likings. The combined the layer with the background picture. Finally added an internal PHOTO-PAINT 11 filter called smart blur to the picture, that blurs the areas, that have low contrast parts and keep high contrast parts like edges or something sharp. That's how the Saleen S7 was done. Maybe I can do some more.

Greetings YoL8R

I had to have a go at this, i used the pack of plugins mentioned, used Bad Dream first to brighten the picture and blend most of the pixelation in the car detail away followed by the Lineart with a few of the setting adjusted.

Thanks for sharing !! oh yes and cos you suggested them plug-ins i had an excuse to upgrade from paintshop 6 :)

Heres the pic...

Hello all, I'm new to these forums (but not to GT).
I didn't wanted to open a new thread so I continued in this one. Initial D has always been a favourite manga of mine and I've always liked drawing and racing in GT.
Now the photomode makes all these things fuse and can result into things like this:

I hope you like it. It's still in the design phase so there will be progress in the overall picture in the near future. :)

Nice pic Toni Babelony, looks like something done with crayons or something. 👍

Thank you for your kind reactions! I really appreciate it ^_^
This led to a new and improved dig:

Lotus Omega or a really souped-up Opel Omega 3000
Heh, maybe a too overpowered drifting car for N1 tyres (keeps slipping in 3rd gear) but looks really well and is a lot of fun. :dopey:

what's wrong with everyone here!?!?!

everyone's sooo dang talented!!! :D

actually no. all people have done is applied filters. (except a few people) it takes no talent whatsoever.

True, but IMHO if you use it well and are creative with it, it turns out pretty nice. It's about having fun right? Not showing off talent or whatsoever... I think...

true, i just had to point out it wasnt talent. if the filter isnt all they use i suppose its okay as well. im just angry that any joe shmoe can get photoshop and use it to impress people without evne knowing what theyre doing.

i got these without using photoshop at all. these were all taken in the same sit-down session. checkitout:

i'm not sure if i like this last one. it definitely doesn't look real but i think it still looks good.
