I swear some of these tracks are just damn frustrating. Making a clean run is rediculous. But i was able to find a nice curcuit that you can make $17,000+ total and the tracks are pretty short and easy to manuver. Its the 2nd crew, 3rd ciruit. The antes come in at $10k and teh side bets get to $7k+. Best part is that it only takes like 5-7 minutes to complete. So, if anyone gets short on funds, i suggest that race. It comes in very handy. Unless someone has a better race, then im all ears.

Team races cost money to enter so If you are low on money you might not be able to race them.;) I suggest the Desert Sanctioned area. That's free to enter and gives good money.
 
holy **** this thread took off like a rocket.
 
OK i have an Rx7 with like 659 hp and 190 mph. But i flip it every corner and i keep over steering. What do i do. What can i do. Should i sell it, keep it and just practice, or sell it and by oanother car. Oh and i also have an eclispse gt-s with 635 hp and 177mph which is great. Oh and i also had a trunoe i won from the iron man competetion. and i sold it though to beef up my rx.
 
Its as though almost everyone is having a hard time w/ the RX7 and its flipping problem. This has actually really kept me from buying one. I might suggest doing the other ironman races and on the hard one, you get a really nice RX-7. From there you can fin dout which one of the 2 handles better and i just keep the other one on hand for fun.......or something.

One another note, Blackbird, i am feeling your pain w/ the Skyline now in full force. Granted it can mow down everything even w/ the AI squeezing everything out of the bottle. its repair bills are tearin' me a new one. I officially got my first $9k+ repair bill this morning. Really fun when you spend half if not more than half of your winnings on the repair bill. Other than that, great car!

Now, its question time. On the respect challenges, there are 2 that are mind boggling. The first one i came across was the one that said "find big air". OK, where the hell do i do that? Second one, the challenge is to get 100 style points in like a minute. In that minute, i got like 17 style points and a $3k repair bill. Any tips would be appreciated.

On the street circuit, the first one is like North and South. I just cant beat it. Advice?

Damn I gotta play this game hard toady, 'cause after today I'l barely be able to play the PS2, since highschool starts tomorrow for me. 👎:grumpy:

Not that far. I keep runnin into money probs. I stll havent unlocked too many of the cars either. I've got 4 cars and like 5 chicks. The chicks w/ the checkpoint races are the easiest. Its just the ones that you have to do special moves and crap that makes it redundant.

In the team racing, im at like the 4th or 5th team, second race. Nothin special.

And for the street races deal, i got one of them. Which happened to be the one that was pretty much an all out drag race down the freeway. Skyline + 224 top speed = no probs. :)

Awesome, thats a lot farther than me, I have 3 cars and my best is an automatic Nissan Z with 788hp. Which sucks 'cause its an automatic. 👎
 
Unforunately for me, i accidentally picked auto-stick for my Skyline. I got the great suprise when after it saved and i took it for a spin. Im lucky like that. I do have a huge complaint about the control config though. I enjoy runnin the manual tranny alot (also works the best too), but shifting gears and pressing the NOS feels really ugly. I went though the configs and none of them are worth crap.

Another thing for the fellas that have gotten farther than me: Does the weight reduction ever come into play or is there to look pretty and never get bought?

Update on my previous post for corrections. My top speed is 214 and im now on the 4th circuit series and the 3rd race set. Bunch of nitrous whores they are!!!

Well after looking around and winning races, I've noticed in the progress screen that says, unique cars unlocked. So far I've only unlocked 2 out of 50 the AE86 and the Mazdaspeed RX-8, so I went to the showroom and counted all the cars, so far theres only around 44 in the garage, and apparntly theres 50 unique cars to unlock, could this be cars like silvia's and honda's?
 
Im pretty sure its wishful thinking. W/ any luck they will be the same cars w/ different names and maybe a different body kit. Having 1 body kit kinda stinks, but they arent too ricey so, i cant complain.

As far as I know, there wont be any hondas in the game.

BAH!!! Tried connecting online on SRS and it keeps givin me error msgs saying it "couldnt connect to the network Please Try Again". And my Network Configuration is already configured.
 
It'd be cool, to get like special edition versions of cars, if those are one of the secret cars, and I know I've seen RX-7's with veilside kits, which is very frustrating.
 
IIRC, the RX-7 you win on hard mode for the ironman challenge has the Veilside kit. Havent gotten it yet though. The amount of racesjust doesnt sound like alot of fun at the moment.

Have fun once you hit nitrosxtreme, they all have skylines.. And somethimes theres that Supra. But theres 2 Skylines, thats pink one, and the black and purple one. They are monsters... But if they are all there, you got Weaksauses yellow peice of Crap.

Yeah. I never did it. I saw the grid and I went hell no.
 
Well the weird thing was stage 3 weight reduction only slowed downed the 350Z I tried it with my other cars and the stats got better.

The 350Z isn't the greatest. I tried it. Its too bulky for me.
