Well I had to sell my Mazdaspeed RX-8 and my 350Z to afford the skyline and its a god damn beast!, but after fully modding it I now only have 6grand out of the 120grand I had should I keep this car or should I keep racing the 350Z and then buy it?

I strongly advise you keep a high sum if you are known to damage a car. The Skylines Repair bill for even just a scratch goes higher than one grand.

Alright I'll use your advice and race for more money instead, but after racing the Skyline hard its handling is amazing. I just wish it was a bit cheaper.

Did you get a standard GTR? I'm about 10 grand from grabbing yet another skyline for myself.

Ya its the normal GTR, its the only one available so far, I would have gotten the Evo but it only has a 5 speed tranny, and the top end is slower than my 350Z. :grumpy: And I've already reached about 220mph in the skyline running from the cops. :sly:

Get on MSN man. ;)

Well I listened to you Darin and saved up money first. Now I'm a proud owner of a Nissan Skyline. :sly: My god is that thing a beast.

Its a great car, but wait until you do a series and wreck it good. I cam out of one series and had an $11,900 repair bill. The best part was the repair costs cost more than half of the winnings. Buyer beware! :p
James-

Lol ya I just entered a series, and won 13 grand, good think the damaged was only 900 dollars. :) Man does this car kick some major ass. :dunce:

I had a 17 grand repair bill earlier today...

I just got to thinkin about this game. Have ya'll noticed how the RWD vehicles somewhat got the shaft? Seriously, though, my starter Suburu was just as good if not better than my 350Z. Something missing there? I havent tried out the FWD cars yet, but it seems the AWD's have a distict advantage in the game. Your thoughts?

Oh and one other thing. Kinda funny we're all whorin' Skylines now huh?
James-

Well I started with the front wheel drive eclipse, and it suffers from understeer, thus giving rwd and awd cars a better advantage. The Rwd cars also suffer from understeer in the long fast corners, and the 4wd cars feel very balanced. :)
*but hey whats wrong with us all whorin' skylines. :sly:

Actually, not really, the Skyline accelerates like a AWD, but when you turn, it wants to put its ass out and I'm forced to countersteer. Making it comewhat RWD. It actually has that 70% rear 30% front thingy. I'm impressed.

About the Impreza and the 350Z, are you sure? From what I observed, the 350Z is slightly quicker, but weight matters. The Impreza 2.5RS is by far lighter than the 350Z, the 350Z is by far heavier. And it also has a larger, bigger, bulker engine. Its not something I looked into owning. But the Impreza STi is a very big differance from the Impreza 2.5RS.

Well, w/ the Skylines, you get the "feelin of goin around" but it hardly ever does as opposed to the 350Z which lives for the moment of spinning out.

I just think AWD cars have a huge advantage in the game right now. I havent gotten to try the Supra yet, but i fear when it does happen.

Nothings wrong w/ it. :) I've just noticed race variety go from each of us using a different vehicle to essentially using the same one.

Right now im just thinkin about different things from the game since i cant play it right now. Stupid kids.

Ya now that you've brought it up, it is quite intresting. Me starting with the eclipse, then the 350Z and finally the car that were all using now the skyline. Everytime I take a turn to fast I think its gonna spin like the 350Z but no the Skyline just keeps chugging along, she also feels like a Rwd car most of the time too. God bless ATTESA-ETS-PRO.

Have fun once you hit nitrosxtreme, they all have skylines.. And somethimes theres that Supra. But theres 2 Skylines, thats pink one, and the black and purple one. They are monsters... But if they are all there, you got Weaksauses yellow peice of Crap.

So far that Blue Impreza is the best out of the group oddly enough...:odd:

The Skyline nUr's bill will be much larger, well because it's a nUr. Especially if you put a body kit on any car the bill is going to be much higher then if you had it stock as in cosmetics. Because in real life say you have a Veilside kit. It's going to cost a hell of a lot of money to get a new veilside bumper if you wrecked your first one.

The main reason why the skyline does not overpower its self is because it's a 4WD. That's also the reason why I love the EVO, the only problem with the EVO is it's top speed is too low to keep up with the others.

Have you ever thought of the fact that the Subaru he's talking about might be a S202? A fully tuned 350Z would own a STi. If this game is close to realism...

Ya thats the reason whey I didn't pick it either, I just kept on saving money till I could afford the skyline.

Quick question. If you buy the same car (350Z) but w/ different packaging (tourning, racing, etc..) does each car have a different body kit? I havent had the cash or time to test for myself. It seems highly unlikely, but i guess its worth asking.
James-

Im pretty sure If it's a high class car it will have a better body kit. Veilside is the best I believe. I've yet to have the money to see if the Twin Turbo Supra has the Veilside kit just like the Supra in the Intro Video. So this is a maybe answer king jame. You'll need to experiment unfortunetly.

The Supra 3.0 AE has it. The others have a Cwest kit.

Well when you do the last iron man challenge, you get the higher end RX-7 with a veilside kit. So this could be a possibility.

Have you all noticed, that Cwest and Veilside are the only two companys that are involved with the kits....?

I might reconsider and sell the nUr these repair bills are getting me nowhere.

Hmm, I just noticed that, atleast they all vary from car to car.
