Umm, just wondering, isn't it against, the AUP, to talk about burning games?

ND4SPD
Oh ok then, just wondering:tup:

If burning games are illegal, then yes it is violating the AUP. If you are not sure I suggest you not talk about it at all.

:sly:👍

*ok, what the hell? I was testing out the cars in SRS, and I came upon both Mazda RX-8's, and drove them both. I was maxing out at 150mph on the highway in 5th????? What's this all about? :ouch: did, the producers of this game, didn't research about the cars? So far this is the only car so far with this problem. 👎:guilty:

No what you don't get is that it only has 5 spds!!! In real life the RX-8 has 6 spds, and the automatic has 4 spds, this is truly starting to bug me everytime I use the damn car.👎:grumpy:

Then don't use it. The RX-8 isn't going to get you far anyhow.

But I just can't get enough of its rotary goodness! Its so addicting to drive it stock. I love hearing a rotary engine at 9000rpm, what a mechanical piece of art.👍

I quit reading this thread around page 5 or so, and skipped ahead because it was getting off topic. One thing that stuck me odd was how you guys felt this game drives like GT3. Are you serious? This thing drives like ass. I don't think I've ever played a driving gamed who's characteristics annoyed me more. Which is a shame, since I like the rest of the game rather well. I think the driving aspects are overly exaggerated. Especially with the high powered RWD cars. This is a rental only for me.

Heh, I just found something funny, when I put the code on to drive the cop car in arcade I noticed it was called the: Police V8 Interceptor. After reading the car's specs it has a 2.3 litre twin turbo inline 6.👍

Hmm not to sure about that. Have you checked all your local gamestores? Maybe you should do a google search or something. Sorry, thats all I can help you with.:)

Hi all, sorry if this had been mentioned before, but I haven been visiting this thread for the past few days.

Which is better for me to buy? AND WHY?

Skyline GT-R V-Spec II NUR (the last to be unlocked)
Skyline GT-R M-Spec NUR (More expensive than V-Spec II NUR)

???

Just get the first and cheapest skyline available. They're all the same. So just stick with the cheapest one.:)👍

 Thats how you know, that clerks know nothing about there jobs.👍

You mean the cheapest skyline have no difference compared to the most expensive ones?
Hmmm, wonder why they put them in the first place...
Thanks anyway ;)

they did it so that people think that it has heaps off diferent cars and then buy the game.

Heh, I guess it was just an advertising gimmic. Like, c'mon more than 5 skylines and all of them perform the same, what a ripoff. Still Its a fun game to play. Especially online as I got to find out today.

No, while I was playing it online, I noticed no lag at all:tup: Its very fun playing while talking to others. The funny part is when you enter pink slip races and win, you can pic anycar you like out of everyone's rides, Its also great to hear people plead for their cars back.

I bought this game shortly after ND4SPD did and i must say, it certainly seems like NFSU. I've played GT3 before (i have xbox) and to me it seems nothing like it. The RWD, AWD/4WD and FWDness of it seems acurate enough, although the steering seems almost AI/Computer controlled in the middle of a braking drift. This is especially true for the RX7 R1, where i'd be in the middle of a drift and i notice the wheels in-steering forcing me into a spinout when i was clearly holding the thumbstick opposite of that. I've mastaered drifting on NFSU, Sega GT 2002, Project Gotham Rascing 2, and even EA's F1 2001 (which btw was a pain in the ass, still no Gilles Villeneueve tho), and i must say, the braking drift vs. emergency-braking drifting in it is quite different in SRS compared to other titles. dont forget the twtchy and tight steering (on Xbox anyway) that reminds you of NFSU, but then you dont get the high-speed cornering and rush of NFSU so theres no need for that screwy steering. right now im 50% done, and btw, take the AI extremely seriously, they know theyre cars are repaired after each Iron-man round and they use it against you. Just voicing my opinion, G.

Ew, how lame! I tried to copy the disc before taking it back to Blockbuster and there's some sort of protection on the disc that wouldn't let me. So I took it back and then I came home and downloaded the game instead. The game works fine but because the disc is burned it won't allow me to go online! I'm pissed, that's the only thing I wanted to keep playing the game for was the online part of it. Oh well, GTA will be out in a month and then GT4 a month after that. I guess regular SRS gameplay and GT3 will have to hold me over.

FYI, GT4 has been delayed again, possibly until March. I dont have a PS2 (xbox) but i figured i'd let you know out of the goodness of my heart.
