Have you played the game yet? I'd suggest renting the game first before you buy it. Its not everyone's cup of tea.:)
 
FINALLY i went to Big W and there it was the final copy man i feel lucky im this will hopefully keep my entertained for a while and i was reading through the thread and i will Start Off with Subaru Impreza 2.5RS

Looks like SRS kinda, got old for some of us and stopped playing and the thread went dead. Must keep it alive. :scared:
 
OK, started today on my own with a rented copy for the XBOX. There were a few times where I found it hard to get cash, but got over it. Got race in Miami in Streetmode with Team Nemesis.

SO now, I have a few questions.

When the hell, do I get to start racing Miami and Philly? I've unlocked the 2 team meets in LA. I've just gotten the RX-7, which is worht the money. I crashed the Subaru so many times, that I started to just leave it damaged. The last girl I unlocked was first black girl, ( I want Tina! But Courtney will have to do) and I just want to know when I can return to Miami and then start to Philly. The roads on LA are just curvey roads and then straights. PLz, help me. I wanna go to beautiful Miami! :guilty:

Heh, I guess it was just an advertising gimmic. Like, c'mon more than 5 skylines and all of them perform the same, what a ripoff. Still Its a fun game to play. Especially online as I got to find out today.

Except the first Skyline can be made to over 1000HP while the others top out at 900 something when fully modified.

Although the GT-R V-Spec '99 was the first Skyline I ever drove in a game, the origial GT-R model was funnier. 👍

And no R33 or R32? Bloody hell Namco!

i got the other Skylines up to 1000 +
 
Well as for the Philli and Miami, tracks.....Well if ya notice you never get to cruise around there. L.A is basically where you'll be about 90% ofthe time. You only go to those 2 tracks, if your racing on them.... :guilty:
 
I've stopped playing SRS,
1. because the file went corrupt and I had to delete it.
2. I don't own the game.
3. I'm busy waiting for GT4, GTA:SA, TOCA Race Driver 2, Halo 2, and PGR2.(I'm waiting for PGR2 because I do not have a XBOX yet)

2.It got boring after a while.
3.I'm back into GT3. :)👍
 
GT3 has gotten old to me. That's why i'm so damn mad at these release date changes for GT4.
 
That sucks.

IMO, SRS needs a ton of improvements. First off:
CARS: If the selection of different cars rather than models of the same car had been more, would have given more credit to i.
2nd: The lack of interactions in Street Mode with the other two cities. That's really sad and another bang to Namco.
3rd: The mods. For some reason, I feel, the mods could have been greatly improved upon.

IMO, Namco's on the right track, but they need to greatly improve the game if they want a sequel. So little was offered, and so much can be improved on.

The game gets a 7.5 out of 10 from me. IT really could have been better.

GET PGR2. It is really worth it. Although not a sim, its still great fun. I've near;y beaten it, and the game did something I had never seen in a PS2 game. It gives you the option to walk around a dealership and buy the cars. I mean literally walk, and even better. TEST DRIVE! There are only 5 cars on the game that can be unlocked, and can't be test driven. Every other can!

I really was hoping for GT4 to have this same dealershio feature along with the test driving option. Anyways, its really a fun game. 👍
 
why 2 different covers? are they different versions? (like those cheap editions after a while the game is out)

Oh wow I wasn't expecting a revival but cool.:) It got old to me as always. My current game i'm playing is in my avatar.:)
 
Wow, who brought this thread back to life? I thought it died off, like a long time ago.....Well anyways, the game I'm playing nowadays is San Andreas.
 
No offense, But I think this thread should be unstickied. Its rarely posted in, and the game didn't live up many's expectations. But the girls in it did.

I kinda agree, this thread, is just dying and collecting up dust. We should unsticky it and let it pass on.
 
Ya but its stickied, so it'll kinda stay. Thats why we were trying to unsticky it.
