While driving press select > City Locations > The Warehouse > and press "O" for jump to get there instantly.:)
 
Yeah, so there was a clutch. But able to change gears without the need to depress it sounds silly. Perhaps you clock damage by changing them without the clutch maybe?
The shops I went to all do not have SRS yet. Damn.

Have you checked your local blockbuster? Because when I went to rent it I went to my regular blockbuster and they had none. Not even on the shelves, the truck must have not come in yet. But I went to another blockbuster right after I left the other one. And behold it was there with the pink skyline shooting out some beautiful firey pink NOS at you. Anyways check rental places.
 
Oh yeah that might be a problem. I live in the US so I don't know there.
 
When Darin said that the box wrote 40 cars but actually its just 15 or so with different models, is it possible that there really is 40 different cars but we just need to unlock them?
If it is just 15 cars or so, can you name them for us? Is Silvia in?

Hey when are you guys going to buy a new car? Can you afford it? How much money do you get per race? How much does the car cost? Is there weather in this game?

Well, I just threw down 90,000+ credits for a Skyline R34 GTR. Then took it to the garage, put everything on it.I got 980+hp and I do just about 1.9sec in 0-60.
 
What? Nani? No Silvias? *Sniff*
And I thought having 40 plus cars as mentioned on the box there is bound to be a Silvia somewhere.
Oh well, at least they have Skylines.

Are the cars spec realiestic like those in GT? or all the cars feel the same? I mean do all 4WD feel the same and all FR feel the same? Or say, a 4WD Skyline feels different from a 4WD Evo?

Well, yeah. FR has that "i'm gonna drift damnit" feel.

But the Skyline is much different than the Lancer. The Skyline kinda feels somewhat more FR than AWD. but its accelerates likea AWD.
 
I bought the game yesterday...well picked it up, I had it reserved for a while. But I'm not all that impressed with it, the handeling blows since I can't seem to find a way to tune the car to my liking. Its nothing like GT3. I have an RX7 and it drives like its on ice.

The chicks annoy the hell out of me, because they sound stupid as hell and the "videos" are just them dancing around. Oh well I don't bother with that.

The car selection sucks! I was hoping for some muscle in there, like at least a Mustang. And the lack of American cars is terriable, I mean hell a Neon would have worked. Hey at least its like GT3 in that since, a ton of Japanese cars with a thousands models per car.

I also hate it how I can't keep my car from looking stupid, I mean I put on a body kit and I only get one choice. Also I want a nice wing but all I got is big GT wings that look retarded.

I hate the soundtrack on that game to, I wish I would have gotten it for XBox instead, I might have been able to the the custom soundtracks.

I hope NFSU2 will be better, and hey at least that game is supposed to have trucks and SUV's. I'm just hoping for a S-10!!!

Funny. I find the handling to be quite near it. Maybe its your controller. And the RX-7 shouldn't act like its on ice, It was fine until I started coming into turn too fast and then flipping my car. :lol:

Anyway, i went w/ ya'lls advice and grabbed the Suburu. Is it me or does the car understeer really bad? I managed to get all the upgrades performace wise and its stuck at like 420 hp. Its quick but it handles like junk. Any advice?

Also, which of the sanctioned events is the quickest to complete? In desperate need of some cash here!

I will say this. This game is alot more interesting than NFSU. Its quite a bit harder. But, ive only got to play it for a couple hrs. But, i am finding the handling quite hard to control. All in all, so far so good. Just got to get the handling down.

Any help on my questions would be greatly appreciated.

What tyres did you put on it? I suggust the BFgoodrich g-Force T/A KDW. They are the grippiest tyres available.
And Blazin extreme must have the same problem. Use those tyres, I use the BFgoodrich Comp T/A Drag Radial tyres. Not only do those lack traction, but its pulls my 0-60 down quite abit. Right now My SKYLINE R34 GTR pulls a absolutly good 0-60 time of 1.7 seconds, and its packing over 984hp.
May I say that larger rims size also increases traction? Indeed it does. Stock rims didn't works for the RX-7 so I put the largest size available though the Volk GT-N, which is exactly 18 inches.
Also improving suspension may helps alot, too.
Putting the KONI sport shock absorbers will help you ALOT. Purchasing the Eibach Pro Kit Spring System will also help you with handling. The Eibach Anti-Roll kit also comes ahndy for your handling needs.

This is all I gotta say as of right now. I gotta look into the game and see if I can get more information on you and blazinxtreme's handling problems.
 
HAHA, damn Darin. You found the flaw in my car right off the bat. I am running those Comp T/A drag radials. I figured they had to be awesome. Looks like i was wrong. Thanks for the help man, time to go turn on the PS2. I'll try those suspension ideas too. Again, thanks.

Yeah. I wouldn't use the drag radials until you atleast get used to the game. ;)

I need this game! but have no pennies to buy it :guilty: Don't suppose anyone has anyword on the juiced release date that also look to be good Street Racer.

Well, I don't think a game should have the same kits for each car, unlike NFSU, say you get a S10, seeing you, I know you wanna keep it clean, but the kits i've seen for that game look horrible. And I'm gonna laugh when you'll be forced to have one of those ugly ass kits on a S10.

Hey darin can you adjust the gear ratios. Liker i was saying, i was playing it yesterday with my cousin and he had a 49 hp or something, volkswagon jetta 1.8 and it was quick to its top speed but it toped at like 133. So i was wondering if there was a gear ratio tunning option considering the dyno and all that stuff. Or maybe you could go tolike a stock transmission thats not as close ranged ratios?
