If you know the "Painted carbon fiber trick" you can have all coloured carbon fiber with 'natural weight'. As for the three dragons, or whatever they're called, lose once or something, and then challenge them by the tolls, they're in the upper right I belive.

What do you mean by the tolls? the curves? What I did is I started the race near the corners so I could an advantage but they wall ride them and they lose praticly no sp points.

On the upper right, on that corner its almost an L turn. Race them there, since its one lane for a little bit and they dont pass people in front of them. Or they run into things. :)

I kept challenging them and eventually they ended up on that main loop part (Kanjou?) I drove around slowly letting my car cool back down and they were fairly easy pickings. I swear at the time I only had level 6 or 7 engine tune.

can you guys drive in the rain? My reaction time are so slow! And I can see no .... I always end up in the back of those damm bus or whatever you call them.

Lets see... I bought the Game last Friday, and finished Sunday. All in all, it took me 2 Days to beat this damn Game. All thats left for me are the Wanderers - But I've taken a considerable amount of Wanderers out already, so I'm good. I'm nearly 92% finished.

My Story... I didn't start out with a RX-7. Instead, I took the cheaper, and also more powerful S14 Silvia. I beat the first part of the game with the S14, gainning some 500 Miles, and around 500,000.00, so I decided to sell the S14, and purchase the WRX STi. I did notice the lack of WRX STi's in this thread.

WRX STi -
Engine: I-6 Turbo w/ All The Upgrades
Power: 725HP+
Weight: 1,195Kg

Not only does it have alot of power, it's all wheel drive, and as light as you could possibly get it. The entire body is made out of Natural Carbon Fiber. This beast completes the 1/4 mile in 8.8sec, with a Top Speed of around 225MPH w/o Turbo. With, I've gotten as high as 240MPH on Wangan Out in Tokyo. It's a beast of car, but handles poorly during Weather Conditions, at High Speeds, so I try to keep the races in Down Town.

My next car, I just had to buy. I was really expecting the Modern Mach 1, but what I got was way more suprising. Again, it's as light as possible, except the Carbon Fiber is colored, Dark Orange with a 65% Reflection. I also took the time to draw on some black Racing Stripes. It's easily my prettiest car, LOL!

I'm thinking about a Corvette next, after I drop a Turbo V8 in my Mustang. It does 9.6sec right now, but it just isn't fast enough for me yet, though it takes out alot of the big Bosses, without boost. The WRX though, I didn't use boost after gainning the final Upgrades. But anyways... Buying a new car can get expensive.

I was wondering that myself.

Also, my game didn't come with a manual cuz it was from a video store, so could someone explain the little graph with the blue and red line?

Thanks

It was a fast car w/ the L6 swap. You must have the newer model, cuz that thing is FAST w/out a swap. Im gonna buy it as soon as i unlocked it again.

I just bought a Supra last night. Tryin to get it ready to reincarnate my Denso :D Right now its black w/ a silver stripe goin down the middle, looks quite nice, I might post a couple pics of it later if i have time. I changed the body kit around on my rx7 too...i like to have a little variety..hehe

and street fighter: the two lines are the horsepower and torque curves...i cant remember which one is which tho

Nah, I started with the Old STi, and that car is fast as hell, probably not faster than the newer STi, as anyone who had one made me use my Turbo, especially any Team Leaders or Bosses. I really hoped they would've hit some obstacle, and really I relied on that, and lots of Turns in one spot.

For the first "Half" of the game, I started out with the S14, and as the real game began (Conquering the Three Cities), I decided to buy the Older STi, as that was the only STi out, and the only superior car at the time.

Noobish question: I was watching an older TXR3 video and I saw the box nect to the boost gauge light up red. I've been trying to find out why or how it did this. Any one know?

Pushing select toggles that Red Light on or off. This just so happens to be your Turbo. Not all cars will come with Turbo directly.

BTW: You can only enable the Turbo during Races.

heres my supra currently. im drivin it like this until i beat osaka for the second time and get my million bucks, then i'll soup it up FIRST, then start on the denso paint job, instead of painting it first then tryin to soup it up like i did the first time...man that torture...nuthin like having a 300hp Denso Supra to be a laughing stock...hehe. this time i go for performance, then looks. the pics arnt that great cuz i just took pics from my digicame off the tv, but you get the idea...shes a nice sleek car to drive
