Thanks. :)

also, to enable it, you have to make sure you go into the "Other" section of the settings and turn the boost up, otherwise you cant use it.

and i just beat osaka and got my million bucks and some other choice parts, like the level 5 cooldown...man that supra looks great w/ an IC sticking out the front grill. I might start the tedious task of recreating my denso later tonight after i get my fix of espn hockey, which im goin to play right now ;)

man i really want to get this game now but ive been deciding if its really worth it or not but im gonna make the A'pex RX-7 and try to do some crazy stuff with stickers

But some were reall awesome. Did you see that Viper and the Xanavi skyline? That Skyline with the Kanji on it was nicely done, too. Thats just the first page. ;)

i'm new but i've been following this thread forever...

does genki announce a winner on ^that^ link or just display the entries? i cant read japanese... one of the cars looks like it never saw the body paint option...

I do not like 2f2f, but the paintjob on this car took alot of time and probably alot of mental effort, too..

;)👍 Looks cool.

Anyways I'm going to ask this again since no one answered it before:
Is the Reinforce option a good thing?

The results might be different for some cars. In my case, reinforcement really helped a lot with my evo. Maybe it does help to reduce some understeering and stability on cornering.

Nothing helps the GT40. That thing is just hopeless.

Though it's my fastest car, I just don't use it enless I really have to, because it's just so uncontrollable. It does 225, with "Turbo" it'll hit 245 if I can keep in a straight line long enough.

I should enter that Genki contest. I have the older Supra, made to look like my 92 Camaro, and I did a pretty good job.

Helps you turn and not be as wiggly, but adds alot of weight. I can survive on level one..

Well then I wont be doing that to my chaser. It already feels like a boat. :p

well i just got my engine swap for my supra tonight, so for the last 4 hours ive been giving it the Denso makeover and am happy to report that im about 90% done w/ it :D and even happier to report that it looks almost EXACTLY like it did before. a few very slight differences here or there, but nothing that detracts from how it looks. it looks as good as, if not better than it did before. All i have left to do is get the graphics on the front and rear bumpers, and on the spoiler, which shouldnt take too long..but thats a task for tomorrow, as i am dead tired now. But the Denso will be fully reborn by tomorrow :trouble: But before i go to bed im gonna go stretch its legs a little bit and let some of those rivals know whos back in town

if i had one complaint about txr3 (besides the fact that everytime i try to steer the other guy into the back of a bus the game gets reaaaaal slooooow, that may just be special to my copy...), it would be with the wheel selection. txr0 had some sweet choices and i liked making all of my wheels black and yellow. i understand that it woulda cost genki a fortune to include that many licensed wheels, but maybe they could have put all of the original wheels under a "genki" brand or something.

i miss the shiny, chrome deep-dish...:(

p.s. those busses are jerks

yeah, i loved the rims in TXR0 and the way you could customize em...they really wussed out w/ em in this game...oh well. i'd take the customizable paint jobs over the rims any day :D

hey IDAFC, u finished with the supra? i loved the last one u made.

I can't even get the carbon stickers to work right but o well i guess i dont have the patience to sit down and do a paint job who knows? maybe someday i will... but its not gonna be anytime soon...

nah..havnet really worked on it yet today. i might in a little bit. I dont think im even gonna posting pics of it when its done, it looks so close to my original one you'd barely be able to tell the difference

.....and yes. I do have a fair amount of time on my hands. haha...its not really about time tho, its more about patience. you gotta have patience to work on things like this, which is somthing ive been blessed w/ i guess..i used to build model cars, so ive built up a pretty good tolerance to taking my time w/ painting little areas..haha

i just bought a wrx (the bug-eyed one) for the hell of it b/c i need to kill time until i get a gameshark to polish off the 2 remaining wanderers ($$$$:irked: ). Anyways, i fully upgraded it and didn't touch the gear ratios and it ran a full second faster(16.7) in the 1000m than my r34 with the same upgrades, a turbo L6 swap, and a slightly higher final gear than stock. and it handles better. has anyone swapped the wrx's engine and if so is it worth it?

i think i'm gonna start over again just to buy it as soon as i unlock it... 5th time's a charm...:D

P.S. that time was w/ shift assist on
