Because I tuned my Lancer, and you tuned your Skyline. :)

That's a pretty vague question. What mods does your Skyline have?

I'm putting down 9.0's with my L6 swapped R34. Muffler&Cooling is stg.5, weight down is stg.4, and I'm using the stock brakes, no reinforcement, and no spoiler.

What I got on my Skyline R34:

L6 engine swap
Highest Exhaust Package
Highest Cooling package
Highest Tranny Package
Highest Clutch package
Highest Suspension package
Highest Brake package
Highest Weight Reduction Package/ Colored Carbon Fiber
No Reinforement
Colored Carbon Front Bumper
Colored Carbon Hood
Colored Grill
Colored Mirror
Colored Overfender
Colored Rear Bumper
Colored Rear Spolier

Thats all I know about my Skyline R34. It looks exactly like the Top Secret GT-300 Supra. But I call my car the GT-500.

If your pulling 10's, your final gear ratio is waaay too low.

And set your differential to Front:30 Rear:70.

Is that the 4WD thing? I have my Skyline like somewhere around 40/60.

Also, leaving the parts natural you can save quite a few kg's. It looks tacky, but its worth it.

I think that is beginning to sound good, but at stock settings the Gear ratios are far too short.

Only take off the parts that add weight and no performance.

For the 400m/1000m keep these parts stock.

Brakes
Reinforce
No spoiler if possible

Try and get these parts Dry carbon/No paint -

Front bumper
Rear bumper
Hood
Body

And use +2 size wheels Front and Rear. They offer the best grip.

I started off by getting a CF hood, which ver you like, and then I got a CF front bumper. Thats just me, though.

I personally opted to get any power upgrades first. If you're talking about Aero and Dress Up, I went with the front bumper, carbon, and the hood. Those were what I could afford first. I still won with the car, so I don't think it really matters which order. To me, they're just for looks. But that's just me.

Yes you can change your license plate after purchase. As said before, just go to Car Change, select the car and press Square. You can change any of the characters or numbers then.

I don't actually remember my PS when defeating the Seeks, but it was probably less than 581 since I think I had my L6 swap on it without the better muffler and cooling. That was on my FC.

This painting thing is so hard. I just put a light blue stripe on my white FC from front bumper to rear bumper over the top. That rear spoiler was one of the hardest. The rear of the car was also confusing. I also put darker colors where there were darker shadows. I'll try to post it soon.

How do you end up with 581 PS at Nagoya? I only had about 420 with my RX7. BTW, ROTARIES SUCK!!!!!!!!! They make almost no real power and have no torque. No torque= poor use of power. I like the V6 Turbo engines and I love the Toyota Chaser; now THAT has torque.

But back to my point, I dont see how you would need that much power; even Ogre Diety was easy to beat with my RX7. And how are you getting the mileage needed to engine swap?

I don't really remember when in the game I defeated the Seeks. They were easy though. It really could have been much easier than I presented it. I did the mileage trick to get the engine swap; left it overnight. But I did say less than 581 because that's what I currently have on it. I know I didn't have a few muffler and cooling upgrades yet.

I could go into my explanation of why rotarys are soooo much cooler and better than piston engines, but I wont. All's I'll say is that you will never get the real experience until you own a rotary powered car. ;)

Aesthetically speaking, yes rotaries are beautiful. Im just saying that they are not very practical; look at what happened to the RX7 in the U.S.

Yeah. I found out the plate thing out from looking at the wanderer guide. It doesnt matter about the ps. I bearly managed to beat them both with only about 350-400ps.

O.K, I have a question. Who started with the Toyota Chaser, and if you did, what are your opinions of it? Personally, I think its the best car to start with. The weight doesnt mean much in my opinion when you are hitting 311 HP after 12 races

Well guys, my TXR3 days are over...for now. ;) Now that I've got an Xbox with Project Gotham Racing 2, I've had to unplug the PS2...for a long time. Infact, I wont be plugging my PS2 back in untill GT4 comes out. I might not even do it then. Anyway, it's been nice talking to you guys about this game but I'm through with it for now.

Enlighten me.

1) Mazda lost its ass on warranty claims because the engines would detonate very easily, causing serious engine damage.

2) The 13B is not well suited to high horsepower numbers, which are very important in the U.S as drag racing is much more popular than touring car and autocross events.

I already know that you are biased towards the RX7, but that doesn't necessarily make it a good car.

Can someone give me the codes for the Money and Mileage? I got a Gameshark today for christmas. I also heard there is a MASTER code to activate these.

I completly understand. tho, you'll go back to your ps2. May be awhile tho, it took about 4 weeks straight of playing PG before txr3 could tear me away from it. Anyways, i'll see ya online :trouble:

I'm at a boring part in the game! My car has all level 3 engine with level 2 muffler and so on. I have all carbon fiber parts, level 1 clutch, suspension, and so on. Theres nothing else to buy right now my FC has 282ps. I want new parts!
