Great shot but the car is out of focus! That is a big big nono!

I like the all of them except the 3rd one, I just don't like the angle

I'm not a fan of shots of still cars, I find them too boring. However I do like the angles used and both pictures look very nice, 8/10

Last two are my favourite. There is a very good sense of speed and the car looks like its actually racing and i like the flame you captured nice work
I am going to be generous and give you a 9/10 for the last 2:tup:

Wow, that's a great shot, looks extremely lifelike! The only thing I would have changed is F value, so that only the Citroen car in front would be in focus. 8.5 / 10

 
Cool shot but would have liked to have seen a bit more angle on it if you know what i mean

^Man the first 2 shots are great nice color, decent blur and you can sense motion and speed being conveyed. Great overall composition as well 8.5/10

The third ones ok. The lightings a bit too dark for me. give it more exposure. but overall its decent. 8/10

The last one's good too nice sense of speed, decent amount of tilt. you could have focused more on the rear details of the car though I'd give it 8.5/10 :)

here is mine i took my x1 out on stage route 7 did a few doughnuts, made some smoke. stopped and turned my wheels. then messed with the effects a bit thought it looked cool.

Like that one, looks pretty smooth and the lines are great. I would give it a 8.5/10

Here's mine. Its the run for the night, avoid the dawn. I'm still having problems focusing, but I think I'm getting better

I'd give a 5/10 and a 5.5/10. Too much action in so little space. If both were zoomed out a bit and then put off-center, they'd have a much higher rating from me 👍

Off centered focal points are a bit overdone and overrated imo. But when done correctly, it can produce masterpieces.


As for rating your photos

Photo 1: 4/10 - Lack of focus, confusing focal point - what's with the leaves up top? nothing special with the composition.

Photo 2: 6/10 - Seen before, nothing different. Ineffective use of proper focus. Could've been great.​
 
I have an idea! Quit being outrageously merciless in critiquing photos. Because a picture isn't 10/10, doesn't mean it's .3 of 10. Not pointing fingers; I'm just saying that it is ruining the thread.

Agreed. This is not a revenge thread!

8.5/10 for the above picture! Move the camera up abit more then it would be a 9.5 or 10/10! It just feels like abit of a tight squeeze of space to get the wing into the shot.

Whoever posts after me should still rate one of elkayem's photos, but I had to say something about this one.

It is absolutely gorgeous. I can't find a single thing I don't like about this picture. It seems like everything in here is done properly. The subject is off-center and interesting, the contrast looks stellar, the depth of field is perfect - it captures the car phenomenally, but none of the excess in the background, the shutter speed is slow enough to give good motion but not distort the shape of the background and foreground objects.

Whether someone falls in love with this picture at first sight or doesn't like what's in it, the picture regardless scores highly in my book. Everything about it is done properly from angle of the shot to exposure and everything in between.

One of VERY few amazing photos on here. There's always room for improvement, but this is one of the best composed pictures I've seen on here to date. Since there's room for improvement, 9.99999 of 10. But you get the idea.

10/10! :) I think everything in the picture is perfect! The lights on the car makes it kinda special!

I like the picture overall and I think the placing of the car in shot is good - it works well with the track snaking away from it.

I just think that the track seems to grab my attention more than the car. Sometimes this works but I don't think that it does in THIS context (and I don't think it was the photographer's intention). I'd be tempted to expose the picture a TINY little bit more (or select a slightly different white-balance anchor point).

There's very little movement in the picture either. The context tells me that the car should be moving but it feels... well... parked. Maybe switch to Panning 3 and try a slightly longer shutter?

Still, it's a pretty good shot and overall I like it!

Okay... time to get your revenge :D

No revenge this time, I got in the way, sorry. I like, how you captured a racy feeling and the composion of the colors, but the whole picture does not feel right in my opinion. only the middle spot of the car is focused, wich makes the tires look awesome in one way but the rest of the car is a bit blurred.
I also like to see a little bit more of the car in this picture.
all in all a good picture with some kinks in it, 7.9/10

here is mine. a bit dark, but somehow i like it.

was a bad idea to do a trackday in a viper on that day, that beast did everything it could to kill me. somehow I survived and the photographer did some awesome shots, though.
