Looks nice although a little too soft on the car imho, great shot height though and nice lighting behind. 7/10

^Looks like it would be a good angle but the filter is waaay off. Next time just try panning mode 3 and a low shutter speed.

You forgot about my rating. And thats panning mode 3;).

Did you mean something like this?

yeah thats better. As for the rating the of your other shot: 5.5/10

Good angle, but if you want a wheel shot you should've went for a still shot. 6.5/10
I don't think he was going for a wheel shot, so I like the sense of action that comes with the low shutter speed.
Ok, post another :p, but rate mine first.

That's terrific! I love the lighting with the car, and the sense of speed is great. My only complaint is that the building in the background is in focus. This may seem odd, but I think it would be a better photo if the building was less focused, so the photo would center more on the car. What color is that? 9/10

This is my first post here… DON'T WORRY!:guilty: I READ THE OP!

Anyway, just tell me something useful. Don't tear it up though, because if a picture is worth a thousand words…

…is a lot of words.

^^^ I like the way you white-out the backdrop, composition is just getting to the point, too. Maybe the car could take more space (ie. move the camera slightly more toward right) but that's not a dealbreaker. 8/10.

@e_dub You should've used panning mode 3. It looks like it could be a very excellent shot if the car was in focus. 6.5/10

Thanks! I used panning mode 3 so the building shouldn't have been in that much focus :ouch:. The color is Grigio Granito from Maserati. That color usually only works in places where there is lots of light. Otherwise, it just looks like black.

This shot was a little harder with it being standard and all...

I'd give this picture like an 9/10 the soft yellow lighting and excellent camera placement actually give it a Gran Turismo promo pic feel. My only problem is that it is a smudge too dark.

great shot great angle good focus, alot of pictures here tend to have the background just as in focus as the car witch in photography is a big no no
your cars in focus , great sense of speed . the is because its a standard and it could have had slightly better angle and just a bit brighter and just a tab bit less glare but overall great picture!! 👍

could i offer some advice to you all > great pics but what i see that hurts your picture is the FF all the way up
try setting it lower but not to the point were your car is blurred just enough to make the background slightly out of focus, just slightly . This gives your car a great emphasis.
Good photographers tend to do this when taking pictures of a single object to give the object the spotlight, unless your taking a panoramic view , select the object press square and set the ff lower =D a great example would be the picture of the grey/silver Mclaren F1its perfect but the ff is all the way up making the picture seem bland

Holy mother of god. 6 photos posted in a row and NONE of them posted a review. Guys, seriously, read the OP. It's in the title. I'm not going to explain the rules to you guys in this post right here. Go to the first post and read it for yourselves. It takes seven seconds. Please, for all that is holy, read it.
Especially you, Megacack.

@Megacack: Just so you know, it is advised that you put all of your photos in one post. They're pretty good shots, by the way. I'd give you an 8/10 average.
And yes, it is advised that you review the pic before your post when you post a shot.

EDIT: You know what I love? People read 'the rate my photo thread' portion of the title, but are blind to the 'read the OP' portion.

Megacack be careful so Mods dont rate your stay here :p. Press the edit button. Before posting your pic rate someone elses pic. Read 1st post:).

Megacack, I'll give you a 8.5/10 for the California, but the others 7/10 they've got some contrast issues.

I would people the rate the "realness" of this one, I've discovered that the miniature filter can do wonders if used right, speaking of miniature.....
1024.jpg

I would like people to rate how much this actually looks like a tilt shift miniature.
And lastly
1024.jpg

Being a hipster means that I'm one of them artsy fartsy types (so I tend to get a little flighty) so I would like it if someone rates this based on the artistic factor of it.

I would give a 9.5/10 on the middle picture, I love how you made it look like those are real people.
