Being as Famine hasn't confirmed this, and I've just watched Me(squared), I'll go ahead and confirm that Rossell was right with 98%.

I was thinking of the number that Rimmer keeps repeating, that gets Lister so frustrated that he blurts out a wrong number. Seeing as you asked, why not give both? 
(I'll have to go and find out Lister's number, Rimmer's I can remember!)

4691 is correct for Rimmer..
4681 is one digit out for Lister.....
@ Famine. Lister isn't looking at the stock sheet when he blurts out his number, resembling that of Rimmer, out of sheer boredom & frustration at having been stockchecking for 4 hours! He may be right, but it seems unlikely compared with "Captain Organised", Rimmer himself!!!

SH - Rimmer can't remember facts and figures for his 13th Astronavigation exam. Why would his memory of quantities of irradiated haggis be any better?

@ Famine. Rimmer must be reading the values from somewhere, as they've managed to make it through the homogenised puddings! Every value he gives for an item before the Haggis, Lister responds to with a "Check", so he's right every time, and probably isn't doing the count from memory! We never actually get a "Check" from Lister for the Haggis, so we can't be sure if Rimmer's figure is correct, BUT.....nor do we get confirmation from Lister that this number is incorrect, or that 4981 is the real number. The quantity of Red Dwarf irradiated Haggis will forever remain a mystery.....
I suppose I should have asked:- "What numbers did Rimmer & Lister give for the quantity of irradiated Haggis on board Red Dwarf?" Not asked for an absolute value in stock!
