But still... No-one's answered the first part of the question... :D I think it's l4s's turn, given how many he got.
 
I'll try and have a good question in bit, don't want to spend too long trying to think up a hard one only to have it answered in two or three posts.... Again.
 
The number of people aboard Red Dwarf has changed over the seasons, what is the difference between the minimum number and the maximum number of people on Red Dwarf at any time.
 
About 1700, I think.

It goes from just under 200 in The End to around 1900 later on.
 
Nope, your a bit off there, there was under 200 at the start of season 1.
 
I think in Justice there's exactly 1000 more stated than in The End (one hundred and sixty something), but I think there's a bigger number stated in "Back in the Red".
 
It was 169 in the first series.

I can think of there being just one when Rimmer heads back first in Quarantine.
 
I suppose that, in theory, there's 0 people on it for the entire of season 6 and 7. Though Lister remains the registered living crew member and Rimmer is still a registered crew member.
 
There are periods where theres 0 people on Red Dwarf, that's correct. Now you need the other end of the scale.
 
In justice Rimmer was charged with 1167 counts of second degree murder. With himself and Lister on board that would make 1169.
 
That's the one, but there is a higher number, though I didn't expect anone to get it, and that's 11,169, that figure is in one of the books not in the TV series so I decided not to be completely evil and watch you struggle, and struggle for day's and day's. Actually... Damn I've already given the figure away


Famine said he thought there was a higher number in Back in the Red, I can't for the life of me find one but if you find it, let me know. I'm going to give this to Dunc, since the actual difference in the number of people at any time on Red Dwarf is 1169.

Lister has a huge fruit salad, a Pint of Chardonnay and a prawn vindaloo.

As far as I can remember, all Rimmer has is a cigar and McGruder. :lol:

The other drink Lister has is a Banana Bomb, on the golf course, which comes with a firework!
 
I'll go for the obvious, Rimmer's Jaguar E-Type. There's also a Reliant Robin, a Morris Minor shooting brake, and Lister's Harley, but I can't remember the model.

"Shooting Brake" is a term I've not heard in a while, the Morris Minor Estates were usually referred to as "Travellers"
