MrMelancholy15Alright.
Did anyone think that my Audi was maybe too quick? I sorta felt (feel) bad about sweeping qualifyibg, fast lap and race win. Problem is, FreshSeth83 was running more common lap times, and I was at specifcations...
I don't know, the car was epic. It was so amazing... I have no idea how to describe it...
Again, does anyone think the R8 is a little fast in comparison to the others...?
Lol! Dude I was going to have storm change the regs at the end to see if you cheated or not! You had at LEAST 2 - 3 seconds on me in qualifying.
MrMelancholy15I told him to check, but he said that he trusts me... Well, someone did... I mean, I just had a "driving epiphany" and the car and I just gelled... I actually like the R8 now, enough to buy it in real life... Before I liked it, but now I would marry it... O.o
james6653polar i think you should let me handle the whole points thing
O.o I see... Lol! Ya dude I'd love one! Me and my dad were at Lambroghini Ohio (looking at porsches, lol) and they had one there. They are some really cool cars! Only problem is me dad was a little too tall for it to be comfortable...but I fit perfectly!
MrMelancholy15Dude, I'm six foot three... How tall's your dad?? I just might have to modify the seat mounting, (thank God I know how to weld and fabricate!)
My dads about six three, and allittle wide for the car too lol! He still took it around the parking lot a time or two lol!
MrMelancholy15Oh good.. resolution=Recaro seats with new seat rails..
Or, I'll just buy the spider... Watch the Top Gear episode... "The thing in my right nostril..."
...or just buy a zr1! That things a beast too!
MrMelancholy15AW!! I like German stuff... But, yeah, it was a great race. Seth told me his car's not broken in... Holy crap, I'm not going to win once his is broken in.
But, 9 seconds margin after two hours, it was a very challenging race. I'm only now stopping with the shaking...
Would anyone like to have a week off 2 weeks from now
MrMelancholy15Not at all. That's Fuji, I think....? I think Fuji will be an EPIC battle. Drafting would be huge, so the leader wouldn't open... 3 (?) second lead on first lap...
Btw, I do take some inspiration from Sebastian Vettel... Not that it's relevant to first lap gaps...
I get what you did there... Mr seb. Pulling away of the DRS times... Or in our case, drafting zones
MrMelancholy15O.o I even told Seth... "I'mma make big gap ... first stint... you don't need 2 keep up... preserve tires... if you want..." That was my qualifying session: sending Seth messages.
Hmm.
Everyone: would you like to see a certain car come or go next season?
MrMelancholy15Hahaha, next season= BMW M3 + Audi R8 5.2!!! The 4.2... it doesn't belong on a race track, it belongs on a pedestal!! Such an epic car..
BTW, we need Dan Buxton to read my previous post in a speculative voice...![]()
Alright...will buxton would definitely make you think deeply into that statement! How about a Mazda rx8 anyone?
Well I love this! I did get dc'd but the short while I was in was great fun. I'm not sure why I dc'd because I never have b4 so... anyway cant wait till next week- GP/F ftw
Yeah, my car gained about 15hp from doing that race after I oil changed it. So basically I was running a car that was brand new, I used it sparingly before, only had 70km on it. After the race it's nice and broken in. I was down on torque, so the acceleration took a hit. So my strategy for the race was 66 laps, make pit stops evenly. So 11 lap stints. Pit lap 12, 22, 33, 44, 55 then finish. It didn't go according to plan, for some reason the softs on stint 2 didn't last as long as the first stint. So I switched it up and used mediums. I think I pit lap 20 for my 3rd stint. I tried to make the mediums last until lap 33, but I donno if that happened. I ended up making the strategy work though, the thing that hindered me was a stupid mistake on the 2nd last stint while pushing on old tires. I ended up spinning in the entrance of turn 3 when my left rear touched the grass outside the curbing. I had a 12 second lead at that time and was going to do 1 more lap on the tires. But after the spin that ruined the tires and blew my lead. So I pit that lap and kept on. It was a good long race, kinda bummed that I didn't win, but still happy I placed only 9 seconds behind in a new car. Hope next race goes better.
