For season 2, you should add the RUF, Mazda, and Camaro for GT. and have the Corvette and Viper as privateer entries like a spare guy uses them.

I think the Mazda and camero were originally in the plans but just got cut, I think one will replace the viper as no one seems to want to drive it. I'm not sure why I kinda liked it

Bit you want to make it real as possible right? And that car would be fast!
 
i dont like using a standard car either but the RUF would be the pourche in the real rolex series and that car keeps up really well

We can pray that in the next dlc pack there will be a premium ruf.

Also in more reliant news we are doing our version of the the north american endurance championship! So Daytona Indy and Laguna seca (Watkins glen isn't in the game :(... Yet) so these races will be longer and will count to the normal championship and also a special N.A.E.C championship! More details when you ask for them or later in the week lol

Ya it's a cool idea (the naec, and the ruf) but I REALLY want Watkins glen. I've been there a few times now, driven and watched races there, crazy fun!

Well there isn't any other Rolex series on here, even by the gtplanet people so I don't see a problem

If its causing this much commotion ill change it tomorrow once I get home (I'm on my phone now) and we practice on Fridays and race on Saturdays with the qualifying and stuff starting at 6:20 est it's all in the original post

Actually I'll ask a mod/admin what he thinks and well go off what he says, id he says it's ok then it's staying like this I think it has a good ring to it. If there is a problem I will change it, but not unless I have to

Alright I have a message into one now, they didn't correct my old "official Rolex series" thread before, I think the reason is because there aren't any other Rolex series out there. If this was a NASCAR thread I bet id have so many messages about it my head would be spinning
 
Well I mean if it's based off of the real life series, then you should name it that. Rolex Sports Car Series?

I was thinking that too I'll work on this all tomorrow, too late to make drastic changes now

Alright so to end the name problems, I looked to my paper I have with all my ideas. The paper said to slightly change the name once all the rules were set in stone (this wendsday) and the thread gets moved to racing series. I just had "the Rolex series" down but I was hoping I could come up with something more creative. The reason it's the official Rolex series in here is so people that were looking at the old thread will know this is the same thing, only newer and with more details. I like the idea of calling it by its real name "Rolex sports car series" so whoever said that, thanks! So the name will be changed this wendsday,
If not sooner were just doing some touch up testing with the prototype cars.
 
I don't care about the name as long as there's a good organized structure for vehicle regulations, qualifying and race start.
Ran 3 laps with the Vette after an adjustment (stiffer front end, new alignment) on deep forest, starting to gel with it.
Have to brake it like a Porsche, wait for the load to transfer to the front tires.

Ya the suspension has to be right on that car, and the gt regs are all good, maybe a slight tweak on the Audi but that doesn't apply to you. The dp seems almost right but the Peugeot was a little slow

Fast yes, but because of the lack of adjustable downforce, the CTR2 is rubbish. with 570bhp and 1280kg, it does far slower than the Corvette Z06 around Daytona. I think the RGT was slightly better, but I haven't used the current settings.

But the inability to adjust downforce would be unfair because all the other cars can
 
I was testing it yesterday. Just adjust the brake balance.
