To save this thread from fail cause I'm generally interested in see other peoples set-ups. Here's my super exciting workstation at work (will do home one later).
From Left to Right
- Lenovo T410 Laptop (Totally Business but i5, 4GB RAM and LED screen, so it's not all bad.)
- Boring Business Cisco Phone
- Harman/Kardon Speakers from like 10 years ago, but still relatively decent.
- Dual 22" Lenovo P2251s (Surprisingly decent)
- VB Soft Footy on top of roll of Tape
- 27" iMac (i5, 8GB Ram) currently with no mouse as I took it for the laptop, Logitech Bluetooh Keyboard
- Using Wireless 7000 Desktop but with Laser Mouse 6000 from Mac while charging 7000 Mouse.
- On floor old G4 iMac which does work as a desktop, but I find it works better as a footrest.
Picture kinda freaky lighting as I'm on the top floor and have afternoon light streaming into my office from that window.

Those Lenovo's look quite cheap, but besides that that's quite an intresting display you've got there

It's actually running Panther still. I was going to get it going and use it as a remote administration machine for Macs, but then I didn't think the G3 can use 10.5, and then I scored the 27" so it all became irrelevant.
But I do like out of that whole set-up the biggest talking point is the 10 year old iMac on the floor!

How about equipment racks? Here are some I've had to deal with when I arrive at customer sites.
Right pic is lower down the same rack. I think.
Side of that rack, followed by the table in the background.
This one was 2 days after we left it with the customer. The velcro'd cables on the side are the part we built. The ones that go into the management trays.
I don't even remember this one. No idea whose it is, but it's in my phone, so I took the pic.
One we were asked to clean up:

Good to see the Hp Proliant servers in use (for me).
Used to work in a Decommissioning department and had to do loads of those Proliant DL350/380's. Heavy sods they could be at times...
Its amazing how smart it looks like once you get all the cables sorted out and looking clean!

That DL 380 in my last picture (side-by-side rack) replaced all of these:
VMWare host running all 5 of those boxes, plus 2 boxes that were in another space in the building, plus a new one we built to handle Veeam for backup. Took us less than 4 hours to build the box, migrate the running servers to the VM host and restart them there. We have also (finally) gotten the electrician in to put power in properly, so those AC cords on the sides are no longer there.
All of them have at least double the disk space they had before and are much, much faster as well. The room stays cooler, too!

I never got lucky enough to do any builds for the servers, although we did find out that when it came to wiping the data on them, it often took a weekend of non-stop running before it would be completed...
So I am not surprised that the DL380 was able to take on the job of eight servers/eight builds lol.

My WS is quite a mess though no pictures at the moment. Just to give an idea I have 2 UPS systems and 4 tower pcs under a large u shaped desk. The towers are all connected to a KVM switch going to a single 37 inch HDTV, mouse and keyboard. 1 Router, 3 hubs, 2 USB hubs, 1 Hard drive dock , PS2, PS3, XBox360, Direct TV HDDVR, High end Altec speaker system, DFGT Wheel and pedals as well as the MS wheel and pedals. Should be rplacing both of those with a Turbo S next week.
