Ok racers. There will be 2 practice sessions this weekend. 1 on Friday, and the other on Saturday. If the turnout is good, we will run 2x10 lap races on each evening. One dry, and the other wet. The room will be open from 8.00pm with the first race at about 8.30. As I said previously, there will be no practice on Sunday, as F1 starts at 7.00pm.
 
The second batch of prizes have been sent today. GC GARY, HANCOCK, HASSLEMOFF, DOWLIN and JAMMYREX'S SC3 patches and lanyards are now on their way. Final batch will be posted next Friday, so send me your address Socal. Race some of you tonight. Room open from 8.00pm.
 
Only 4 of us tonight for practice, Rob, Capt Gary, Will and myself, but we had some great runs. First 4 were 3 lap races on the RH tyre in dry conditions. 3 of us bettered our previous times, but still couldnt upset Robs top time. I wasnt going to include my new time, as I felt I went a bit wide in the last turn before the chicane, but after viewing the replay, I dont think I gained anything from it.

We then ran 1 race on inters @50% track surface water. The fastest time set in the 3 lap race was a 2:31.796.

After that, it was time to test the full wets. 100% surface water, and raining like mad. Full wets, and full damage. Fastest lap was 2:45.282. I needed a pit stop after lap 1, and so did Capt Gary.

Gents, this race is going to be so different from any other Sunday Cup event ever held, so please be prepared.

More practice tomorrow at 8.00pm

Enjoyed the laps tonight.. Gutted about the disconnection.. I'd just slowed a bit to let Bo catch up after he made a mistake, and was looking forward to the 5 lap battle that was to follow. :(
 
Good racing today, i liked the wet running a lot. Hopefully more wet laps in the race!

Also Czech Republic is not Yugoslavia. :lol:

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend. Geography isn't my strongest subject.

Edit: just checked a map and you're further north than you were in my head.

Fun practice tonight. Some connection issues hampered the 10 lapper, but we still managed to log some times. Great to get Bo and Dan added to the table.

No problem! It doesn't bother me really, i find it funny (in not negative way). :)

We were mistaken for Chechnya a month ago in some US media, so there's nothing for you to worry about. :D:tup:

With the use of double sided tape, my SC3 patch has been positioned on the head rest of my racing seat. Now i'm thinking of giving the whole rig a spruce up to match the patch. 👍👍

Recieved my lanyard and patch, thank you very much.

I was going to stick it to the door for my harry potter cupboard under the stairs (yes thats were my ps3 and wheel is now) but the wife wont let me so ill have to find somewhere else.

On the subject of prizes, I have been to deliver Dans Final championship prize tonight, which was this awesome print made very kindly by GTP_JOYLORD. The print was made using the picture Dan chose from Cobani's final set of pics from the Suzuka race. Another copy of the print will be given to the PR department at Lotus, to thank them for their generous prizes for SC3. Also massive thanks to JOYLORD, and COBANI for making this happen.

The Sunday Cup now has a new logo, as some of you may have spotted on the flyer for the Spa race, or facebook. This also appears on Dans print, in the top right corner.

I will not be having any practice on Friday, as I will be running in GOODWOLF's Fiat500 Trophy practice, but I will run some SC practice on Saturday and Sunday at the usual time.

Also, on race weekend, 23rd June, I will only be practicing on the Friday before the race. I will be watching Lemans on Saturday.

1 more thing, I should be taking part in TCR's Pikes Peak challenge tomorrow providing I dont have any Thursday night calamities. It is a lot of fun, heres the link. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=283877
