We both improved our lap times on the soft tyre, I got a 17.8 with Rob close on a 18.1 :D

The cross country skies are put away for the season and I'm back on track. ...or back in the bottom when I compare my first lap times with yours. 1.17? How is it possible??

I have to spend some time behind the wheel tonight. And as I understand it, we can mess around with the LSD, right?

Thats right. lsd can be adjusted. I may join you for a few laps later aswell.

Indeed we can.. As it stands I am yet to play with the LSD settings.. Just using default.. Infact the only change I made after fitting the race 3 upgrades was to lower my 6th gear a few clicks to fit the straight better. I'll most likely join you for some laps later 👍
 
Practice, practice...

I may have raised the question earlier, but what about heavy damage? It is standard in the endurace races I have done and it makes you alittle more cautious, specially in heavy traffic. It also puts another dimension (real) to the racing. Thoughts on that?
 
Personally... I like it how it is, on medium or light whatever it is.. Also I'd be really pissed if someone else damaged my car badly, and I had to pit because of it.. That said I will go with the majority and whatever Ade decides.

We will stick to the current format, as we saw in race 2 with the first turn incident. If we had heavy damage on then it would have been the end of the race for several drivers. Maybe we will use it when I do another endurance race after S 3 finishes.

Some good times posted. We had 3, 5 lap races on the soft, and 1 on the medium. New times are posted in green. I may do another Friday practice, with the same set up as last week, 2 x 15 lap races using both tyres.

The decision to quit has grown during the last weeks, it's not like it used to be. I don't look forward to the races anymore so it's better to leave my spot on the grid to someone else.

Anyway I have some good memories from the SC and maybe I'll race you guys some other time. :cheers:

That is a shame Cobrius. We have enjoyed some great races in SC, but if you feel its time to hang up the SC driving gloves then so be it. It has been good fun, and you can take your SC1 prize as a momento. Good luck mate.

What's the deal with this cup? Is the aim to be a regular or can I just appear for a select race or so? I am interested in online racing outside of public lobbies.

It would be better to be a regular, as it is a Championship, however there is space this week if you want to give it a try. All we ask is that you are a clean racer. There will be practice sessions this Friday and Saturday.

Sad news to hear that we will no longer race together in the Sunday Cup.
I do hope to race you again sometime, as you are a great driver to race with.

As Core GT is still on a break, I will run an additional practice tonight for Sunday's race. The same as last week, with 2 15 lap races, 1 on the soft, 1 on the medium. Room will be open from 8.00pm, with short race practice to start with, then the 2 races from 8.30pm.
