Right, so I can't find any pictures that could go together to look like Fluttershy and Toothless are interacting with each other. The only frames that would work involve toothless moving very fast so theres and extremely large amount of motion blur. Trying to think of some other things, but if I end up figuring something out, I'll make try what you suggested, Brando-K.

Also, I would read TBoTS right now, but I have this persistent ringing in my ear and it's starting to piss me off. Come to think of it, the frustration could be why I can't even think of another way to do some more pony crossovers. I'll probably try another movie once this ringing stops. I really need to learn to clean my ears more often.

Why do I read these damn things? The first one wasn't so bad, as it was really just another "Luna tries to come to terms with her life" story, but the second one... Dammit Dash, why? Why are you in so many of these things, and why do I keep reading them?
 
I don't know If I'd have used Trixie as the Wizard...Seems more of a Doctor Whooves sort to me. but it's eh. Flutterlion is KJOOT.

That's why I have to thank you for the recommendations,I just catch on The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle and it just gets better episode after episode,once I get clear of E3 I will read some of the other recommended fan fics.
 
"Nocturne" was the Luna story. It was well-done. Nothing particularly outstanding, but a well-written piece nonetheless. I went into it expecting sad and it wasn't really sad at all (at least by the standards of a Luna story, I suppose). There is still another chapter to go, but I can't imagine it will end on anything but a happy ending the way it was set up.




"Somewhere Only We Know" was the one that absolutely killed me (I can't even link to it because of the sheer amount of people swearing at the author in the comments for making the story so sad). It didn't make me completely lose it like "The Last Sonic Rainboom" did, but it came damn close several times.
And apparently the ending is a real shot in the stomach. I didn't quite get the implication that it was giving off, but I understood enough to realize that it wasn't the happy ending that it was written to be and started welling up again. Of course, my idiot self expressed such in the comments, because I feel that I have a duty to understand what happened; so I'm sure I'll completely lose all semblance of dignity when I figure it out.

That is the problem with fan-created stories,they don't have a clear goal defined and they always end up going bananas at the end,unlike the stories created by a group of professionals for the official stuff,But there are certain cases where a single guy can make a good story(well written and well orientated),and that is what I like to read the most.

Its better to have other opinions on these things and actually find the good stuff without going through the bad written stories and what you guys just read.

I think you may have misunderstood the reason that me and unit-one hate that we read the story.

The story is actually quite fantastic, but the fact that it is so well-written only makes the gravity of it all even worse. It's not that the story is bad, or that the author went off the rails as the story went on. It is that the story is very good, but at the same time very sad.

I also don't like stories that fall from canon.

I'm in a pretty good mood today, so ill avoid the sad fics you guys mentioned, but after I finish TBoTS I might just try them.
Ive always liked reading sad fics. Its depressing as hell at first, but Im always glad I did it after some time passes.

I'll read the rest of TBoTS now I think, but with all this talk about sad fics recently there is no doubt in my mind that I'll eventually end up reading one of them in the near future.
