Meanwhile, Rarity/Bic Mac are plastered, all of Twilight's warnings are all coming to fruition (I'm assuming the disease has something to do with the contaminated water Twilight warned about in Chapter 6 as well), Dash's foot is broken, and Applejack is having serious trust issues towards everypony (and something about how she has been describing The Resistance doesn't sit right with me). And The Captain doesn't seem like she is in any position to perform according to my predictions from the end of Chapter 9 (unless she is just screwing with Trixie).

This ain't gonna be good.

No. I'm waiting to see what the author does with the final chapter before I commit, because Rarity - Loss (the most recent chapter) ended on such an absurd cliffhanger that the end result may end up being that the entire series is wasted if the author doesn't resolve it properly.

They still all work well as individual stories (well, except for Rarity - Loss, which was more about combining the previous chapters and setting up Twilight's chapter than it was about Rarity), but the quality of the series itself is still in doubt.

Final chapter of the Psychological Pony Series just went up. Let's see how Saddlesoap Opera is going to tie that craziness together.

This one is going to be fun to write Synopsis/Explanation for it. I'm going to have to take some time so I can get it put together properly. Such a profound ending deserves nothing less.

Here's what I thought;
It was Snips & Snails fault.
Trixie is a terrible pony. I can respect showing off as a job, but being a 🤬 isn't something I can see someone justifying as part of a performers job. But that being said, I don't think it was her fault in the least. It was snips and snails fault, easily. Showing off, and harmlessly trying to one up the other pony is one thing, but neither Trixie, or any of the main cast did anything to encourage those 2 idiots to actually bring an Ursa Minor into Ponyville. I wish their mustaches were permanent and smacked them upside the head whenever they get a stupid idea.



EDIT: Great, now I have this huge backlog of stories I need to read. Hopefully nothing comes up tomorrow, because if it doesn't, I'm going to do a lot of reading.

I'm an unbelievably lazy person, so here is what I posted in the comments:

I voted for A Dog and Pony Show in the last poll. The first episode that I saw was The Ticket Master, but the thing that made me interested in the show in the first place was a clip of the whining bit from ADaPS. And when I finally saw the episode proper, I was hooked.



As far as this poll goes, it was all Snips and Snails. No one else was to blame.

And I said that before the poll was revised to include them.

Showing off, and harmlessly trying to one up the other pony is one thing, but neither Trixie, or any of the main cast did anything to encourage those 2 idiots to actually bring an Ursa Minor into Ponyville.

While I don't lay any actual blame on him, Spike playing up Twilight the same way those two idiots were playing up Trixie certainly didn't help matters any. Again, I don't think its his fault, but he was basically the direct reason those two idiots did what they did.

EDIT: And about the episode that made me a Brony, that was the first one because I had seen almost nothing of the show until I decided to check out this thread, and about 10 minutes through the first episode, I left for a friends house, the whole way there, and even after I arrived I just wanted to watch more, so I decided to watch it there, despite the possible embarrassment. My friend didn't pay much attention to the show, but I just kept enjoying it, even though he was sitting there mocking me. Usually, I would just stop watching it and wait until I was alone, but I just wanted to watch anyway, and that's when I realized that I was a Brony, I realized it was no longer an intense curiosity, but a thirst for more. So yeah, the curiosity was caused by the community, but the first episode is what actually made me a Brony.
Also, somewhat Ironically(I think), that friend I said I converted a few pages back, was the same one who was mocking me.

There is the mobile(Spike boiling points and Trixie's exaggerated claims),then there is the crime(waking up an Osa Minor),the evidence(actual animation of the suspects doing the crime)and nothing else(*puts glasses back on*, "don't get fooled again" plays in the background,and silliness stops).

What impulsed me to see MLP:FiM was a simple gif,I don't know where to find it but it was the .gif in which Applejack makes the scary boo gesture which I thought was kind of cool,Then I saw the first two episodes and I was like "meh",but in the third episode I found such awesomeness that I couldn't resist anymore,and then I end up up searching for gifs which bring me here,I haven't seen any anime episode since then and there is always something cool to find about My Little Pony everyday(I was watching Nichijou so I got some anime to catch on).

Playing around with an idea. I obviously highly recommend all of the stories I put on that list, but the ones that I think are 20% Cooler (a.k.a. things that should be required reading for Bronies) are going to be listed in boldface font. I'd probably get rid of the idea if anyone else ever suggested a fan fic (because it adds an air of subjectivity that I'm not really comfortable with), but since it is currently basically "The Toronado Thread Starring Toronado" I'm not worried about it at the moment.

For example, TNTNE is boldfaced, The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle is boldfaced, the Pony Psychological Series is boldfaced, and Sunset is boldfaced; but none of those really depressing fics that make me cry like a little girl shed manly tears are boldfaced. Not even the one that probably should be.

Off-topic, but anyone watch E3? It wasn't as good as last year's, given how much the GT5 trailer had me pumped (and of course, who knew of the boat load of disappointment in the coming months after it was finally released), and Jaffe announcing the return of Twisted Metal (pure badassery).

Didn't excite me too much, but I'm somewhat impressed with the PSVita. There's a reason why my old 1000 PSP broke a year ago. Uncharted 3 looked fantastic too.

I don't think that your recommendations might get under objectivity,having to read between good and bad stories is already hard work and time consuming,loosing that time in a train trip might not be that big deal but for some people is,and actually knowing the context of each story you know if you can get some interest out of it or not,of course the synopsis might get a bit orientated but by knowing the actual topic of the story is enough to known if it appeals to you or not.

Damn,I should have done something like that with Twilight, although those glasses make Fluttershy looks 20% cooler.

Exactly,I saw it in avatar in other forums,I just thought it was so cool,a balanced combination between cuteness and awesomeness,at that time I thought it was a fighting move,but knowing that it was an spooky gesture made me think that it is 20% cooler,it must be preserved for future bronies,just like that AMV featuring 7 artist(even knowing that I don't like that Katie perry thing very much,but I like depechemode so I like it because of that).

Finished reading part 12. Damn, I honestly thought that it happened when I was reading it, but:

Rarity didn't die. Once I saw that she had "purely black eyes", I remembered what Trixie had said to the captain, "I've just effectively removed the strongest defenses of New Ponyville, as well as their leadership".

Apart from Twilight, who was knocked out by RD, every Unicorn pony in New Ponyville is incapacitated thanks to Trixie's magic. They may be the strongest defence available, but if Twilight regains consciousness in time, she will play a very important role in the defence of New Ponyville.
