About halfway done (6 pages in) with it now. As a warning, there will be no Fluttershy in this. I know that I can't write Fluttershy well enough to attempt it, and it isn't required for the plot in the first place (hint: It involves Trixie, who Fluttershy never met. Think of this as a sequel to Boast Busters, because obviously if I was going to write a story that is what I would choose to do.), so I came up with the most plausible excuse I could to put her on a bus and I'm just gonna leave it at that.

I figure its okay, because she wasn't in all of the episodes anyways, so whatever.

And I know I showed this one before but I want to know out of the first two which one is better.

So about 12 Word pages, it'll come out to about 5-7000 words. not bad for a first shot.

When writing about a new canon, I usually have to try a couple different stories before I get one that works.

and now...I go shopping. Wish there was an image for that...

My only issue is that I need to find a way to write Spike out of the story, because I'm worried about the damage he would end up causing on the way I want to write it.


Its a sequel to Boast Busters, by which I mean it is a sequel to my interpretation of Boast Busters, which means that I can't have Spike play a major role in the story without derailing it with an Author Tract. Tricky.

I have exactly one (1) scene which is intended to be a Defrosting Ice Queen scene (albiet one that is basically a parody of the concept), and it technically takes place between Trixie and an OC Pony that you could probably consider to be an Author Avatar.



So, of course, I fully expect people to act as if I wrote a self-insert clopfic or something.

Even if you don't like the way he ran things, he's still just a cool person.

Although, you don't even need to know what a pony looks like to have answered those questions right. If you know the show is on The HUB, it's obvious the villain isn't a glue maker, and they don't earn the right to mate, or even discuss the concept of mating.
It was actually funny, and I enjoyed listening to it, and points for not mocking Bronies. But I was just hoping we would hear his actual thoughts on the show.

Who knows, maybe this whole thing will get him to check it out if he hasn't already.

Although Bill Clinton talking about My Little Pony in a non-mocking way is something that's sure to get more people involved.
EDIT: Sorry, I'm just feeling a little picky right now, I just learned that go-kart collisions are no laughing matter....OK, they are, but they still hurt like hell.
