First day on the job, had to sit through a 6 hour induction that was aimed more at the marketing team rather than the team I'm working in (web design), which almost resulted in me falling asleep. I'm looking foward to getting on with whatever it is I'm doing tomorrow though.

Welcome my friend, you will soon realize that is completely different from what you initially imagine, I also work in web design (as part of multiple responsibilities) and the only thing that I found myself doing lately is paper work and assisted design of web banners, ad production, etc(not very related to web design anymore), however this might be different depending on the country.

EDIT: And my wheel is currently in Laurel, Maryland, and got there at 2:22 so if somehow UPS decides to use witchcraft again(like they usually do), my wheel could arrive today, meaning that's just one more thing to keep me away. Those GT5 races look fun. A shame I don't have GT5, because I have a car in GT4 I like to call "The Fluttershy Z". It's basically a Honda Z-ACT with 66 HP, stock weight and a handling that puts the old Minis to shame. So a Kei-Car race would be fun with it. I might get it in the next few months, though. Just hope the races are still being made by the time I get it and reach a decent level on it.

Anyways, as it usually happens, this morning (2am), I got the Captain's Itch, that is to say, a sudden mood to draw, so I sketched out a quick little comic about Missy and Holly. Pardon the off-model-ness, it was a very quick sketch done half-asleep... But most of all, pardon the damn JPG artifacts; Photobucket only lets me upload 1MB pics, so the quality suffered.

I had the same moment of realisation after I got a request to add A Little Piece of Heaven to the MLP Lesbian Shipping group. After about a month of planning and 10k words written, it was only then I realised the depths I'd plumbed.

I like sketches too, they left some elements to your imagination, and they don't incorporate stuff that you might dislike(colouring for example).
