Also when I said I was going to post my fic on DA a few hours ago...that was before a landslide of imminent stuff-to-do hit me. I just about fired off a concise email to Seth adding Unit's tweaked cover and the fact he forget to quote Bits and Pieces.

So that will hit EDaily at some point during the next eon, and I'll get to popping it on DA now.

The smile almost never left my face. I could feel the atmosphere of happiness and sadness, when a soldier comes home after a long fight outside the borders only to find, that the home changed so much, that it feels alien now.

And I'm guessing that Rainbow doesn't know that Twilight...died after transforming in to AI.

You are getting better and better! I think this story needs more fan art.

Eyup, although I've done practically nowt in the past two days as the tools I require (computer, web design software) aren't available to use until tomorrow. I'm probably going to end developing an addiction to Monster energy drinks by the end of this month as well, or perhaps even coffee (which I don't drink normally, but I don't really loathe the stuff either).

Next chapter...weekend. I'm being deliberately vague to avoid issues like...well, it being three days late again. D:

I like how you separated Equestrian forces. Celestia controls the big army and fleet (she's a big sister) and Luna is in charge of Black-Ops a small, but still a very important unit.

Minecraft Mobile release at 3AM receive Fanatec GT2 wheel at 1PM, see the awesome drawing for me by unit-one at 2:40AM, and I just found out FF6 released earlier than planned today.....todays going so well it's starting to feel kind of strange. I didn't even hit traffic on my way here.

Half the Day is Night was also really good, though I do think it ended up leaning a bit too hard on "Status Quo is God" towards the end. Not that it didn't do it in a very well-written way, but it still stuck out a bit.


All throughout there were nice little details that formed together to make great character building material, and if I had to call it anything I would say it was a Dangerous Business-lite. A shame that I didn't read it as it was being updated.








Also read up to the latest chapter of The First Light of Dawn. Its actually not a tyrant Celestia story like I was expecting it was, and what it actually is is a lot more clever than that.
If I had to sum up the plot quickly: Its like a reverse of Boast Busters. Trixie moves on with her life (more or less) and befriends Luna after a series of unfortunate events (obviously starting with Boast Busters) dumps her in a gutter. Applejack and Dash start 🤬 with her at the Summer Sun Celebration without knowing either of those things, and it drives Trixie back into her shell, causing her to do something stupid in order to gain recognition she didn't originally want that ultimately makes Celestia lose control of her powers.
