Same. The latest series is alright I guess, but I don't feel as compelled to watch it these days. I've noticed that the story lines are, well, more complex than they were during Tennant's tenure as The Doctor as well. It's not necessarily a bad thing, I just find some parts hard to follow.

Yeh, they're running low on ways to amp up the drama. I mean, after Davros threatening to destroy reality past, present and future across all parallel universes, they kinda hit the ceiling there.

Now they're just doing weird, overcomplex and retarded ideas I cba with. The Weeping Angles revisit was cool though.

Want to be a jerk? When someone asks you about why you like Ponies, make a bunch of jokes about watching it for the Plot but phrase them so they aren't jokes. A bunch of us are doing it to someone on another forum, and it is glorious.

Well, if you make the story explain his powers, there should be no problems. Example:
