And then CoffeeGrunt stole my Friday/Saturday night routine, although I tend to end up walking 3 miles home at 2AM with a few friends in tow. At least it gives us some time to sober up before we reach the front door.

I already shipped Dash with Pinkie, but then again, it could be fun to have a recurring theme of ship Dash with all the things...except AJ.

It's not so much a routine really. It kinda depends on when some of my friends aren't busy building stuff out of Lego as part of there CGP course at Uni. I either go out to where they are and kick back a few drinks, or they come back here and we go out, er, drinking.

Yeah, I remember that you shipped Dash with Pinkie, and shipping RD with everyone except AJ would make certain people *ahem* slightly disappointed.



And I kind of wish that I bought a Luna shirt last night, seeing as she's the best princess. Instead I ended up getting one emblazoned with the Princess of the Sun, Rarity, RD, Doctor Whooves and some Cyrillic script which I can't read.

I just can't write AJ, I can't reinvent or re-imagine her in my head like I did with Trixie or Scratch/Octy...

Let's be honest, the original plan for Applebuck Season was that she headbutted the trees rather than kicked them, so her tiredness was actually brain damage.

Also, every AppleDash fic has that exact same scene in the orchard like it's the canals of bloody Venice or something! How for some reason, standing in the scent of the apples lilting through the air like the softest soliloquy, the sun refracted through the leaves into a thousand soft, warming needles of light that smote against the air in a fervent heat haze.

And then AJ's all like, "Sorry Dash, gotta evade your less-than-subtle attempts to jump my bones by kicking summore damn trees." That's character motivation for you.

Thing with AppleDash is noone bothers to actually write the relationship developing, they just start with "well the reason Dash and AJ run together is obviously because AJ has candy vag." Then that's a free pass to skip the whole, terrible character development part, and ship Dash with what is essentially a apple combine-harvester.

Oh c'mon. I've only ever seen, like, 7, 8, perhaps 9 stories where this is the case. That setup is hardly overused...





...okay, it might be overused just a tiny bit, but I don't object to it really. One AppleDash ship-fic I'm reading (cheers akira) that has, as near as makes no difference, the same setup that you just mentioned is actually really good.

Oh, and you know those loveface pony videos that everypony seems to like? Well, I just found one that doesn't include ponies. All I can is that I found the whole thing weird as 🤬.

Then again, I found it quite funny that someone took a character who has no connections with MLP and made a video parodying the loveface videos using that character.

Now, as it appears, I am now blasting my way through the episodes watching all of them and quite addicted to watching it. I'm only on episode 7 currently (not far...) but I do wish to join you guys (and girls, if any) in the discussion of these ponies. I will not be too active in this thread until I have caught up in episodes to the rest of you. Add me to the list, I am now a brony I guess.

So I got that iPad case. God damn beautiful. Unfortunately, because Apple are greedy bastards, the thing can only be charged with a certified iPad charger or Mac.
