Looks like my PS3 is acting up again. Playing RF and found some graphical spikes, which I think might explain the silliness that has been happening with GT5, which means the GPU is overheating, which means I have to stop using it until I can replace the thermal paste again. It's not that bad (only occasional texture flicker and one or two spikes in the entire game world), so I'm fairly certain that there is no permanent damage, but still. Fingers crossed.
At the very least, I guess that is reason enough to use my Wii again. But enough about that, how about Ponies?
I wouldn't suggest a CMC episode myself. I'd say either Dragonshy, Bridle Gossip, Sonic Rainboom, and if I had to recommend an episode from season 2, I would go with Lesson Zero.
Which is why I didn't actually suggest Party of One, although I have to say that it isn't low down on my list of episodes that I'd recommend watching first.
Rainboom's probably not the best because it gives a really bad impression of Rarity that may colour your view of her without seeing other episodes first.
Cutie Mark Chronicles? It's really just a Mane Six episode with the CMC used as a pretext to drive the story.
If you want to avoid CMC completely, I'd say Bridle Gossip.
I think Fluttershy's musical might have been the single girliest thing in the series(I loved the whole episode, but that one moment could kill it for newcomers), so I'd avoid that for a starter, even with the sonic rainboom.

And Lesson Zero is the best choice for newcomers in my honest opinion, there isn't so much deepness into the characters and the fun of it will make people get out of the alienating concept.
You know, I wanna say that Lesson Zero might give the wrong impression about the show similar to how S1E1/S1E2.
Lesson Zero was great for us because it used character exaggeration for most of the characters (Rainbow, Rarity, Twilight, Fluttershy) to turn the awesome/funny quotient up to 11; and not only do I think that a lot of the funnier things will go over new viewers' heads, but I think it might paint the show as a sort of screwball comedy that it really isn't.
For example, FLUTTERMANIA RUNNING WILD would have to lose at least half of the funny without seeing some other episode first; and the Rarity couch gag would probably come off even worse.

That colouring is actually quite nice, however that Joseco humanized Luna is truly a work of art, yet somehow I don't like her that much. I like the style he uses for AJ and for DJ-PON3 a bit more, but there is nothing like his version of humanized Octavia:

Also, I can't stand modern R&B as pretty much every song I hear on the radio from that genre is almost exactly the same, plus I never liked that genre anyway. I think I'll just stick with good ol' Alternative Rock, Electronica and IDM.[/music rant]
I guess my favourite artists from the 90's would be Nirvana, R.E.M, Guns 'N' Roses, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Garbage, Faith No More, The Offspring and Feeder (Although I prefer Feeders new album)

60's, 70's, 80's, and to some extent 00's music is fine (I quite like 70's stuff more though). It's just that today's music always seems to be Random auto-tune singer who repeats one word over and over again Ft. so and so (that so and so tends to be David Guetta more than half the bloody time).[/more ranting]
