I told my mum about MLP last night before bed... She thinks I'm crazy-er now for liking a "children's cartoon". I tried to explain that kids get one message from the show and adults get another, I don't think she got it.
Now I need to do something manly to show her I'm not odd for liking multicolored ponies.

Basically my friends when I told them. They don't think it makes me girly, just weirder. (The only guy that said It made me girly got lifted by the shirt.)

I can't convert them because none of them speaks or understands English as much as me. Or curious enough to watch it because I've told them.

Sure the things are not looking well, but that's just not the answer.

I think Bic Mac just wants to get drunk and forget about Soarin at least for a while. He gave rarity a drink, so she could relax.

I wouldn't say he's trying to kill her, just that he realises she, as well as the rest of New Ponyville is probably going to die anyway, so I think he's just trying to destroy himself because he knows whats coming.
From the way he, as well as Forepny Checkers reacted to Rarity, I would say they both just don't give a 🤬 anymore, as if they've just given up.

Anyway, I'll probably put this off as something to do during my down time when I go on vacation toward the end of the month, but I was thinking of doing something like the "Element5 on Display" video, where you can hear the ponies voices during the main parts of the first 2 episodes. Only instead of using "Soul on Display" I was thinking of using this somehow;


If I do it, and that's a big "if", I might choose a different episode or multiple episodes to use instead of the first 2. Again, this is only if I decide to do it. I'll have a week alone in Ocean City before my parents show up, so I might just run out of things to do and end up making the video.


That or it might just be a big ol' compilation of most of the cool moments from S1.

I'm not so sure myself, but what you said did cross my mind after I read the final part.

I just got the impression that Big Mac wanted Rarity to drink with him so they can drown their sorrows together, but I don't really think he intends to kill both himself and Rarity.

He may just be getting wasted to drive his memories away and he was originally giving Rarity water instead before giving her brandy when she started losing it (and that is probably the most likely scenario), but I dunno. Poison, maybe?

Right, I'm gonna say that this is an interesting idea, although I would be quite surprised if Poison really was a factor near the end of part 11. Now I don't believe that it was myself, but any ideas that I come across (including this one) will obviously be noted and referred to if it just so happens to be true.

Neither do I really. I think that what happened really was just the straightforward "drink your sorrows away" scenario, but I figured I'd throw it out there just in case.

Its pretty clear that everyone put in charge of something around Rarity knows the writing is on the wall and have essentially given up (regardless of how high the town's spirits are), but I don't really think Bic Mac would do such a thing. And in any case, the writing does allude to the idea that this isn't the first time Big Mac has gone through this.

Edit: I sure said "really" a lot, didn't I?

Well, today has sucked so far.
I got sick at work and almost threw up, then when I left early, traffic was really terrible. And I mean really, really terrible, it's slow on a good day, but this was just awful. Almost a stand still for 5 miles, it took me over an hour, yeah, that's right, less than 1mph average. And all this while barely being able to hold back my lunch. My stomach is better now, but I still feel pretty awful overall. So;

I just jumped through the gallery, and I found these two, my day is now about 20% better.

The second one made me lol, even though I know what actually happens during that scene.


EDIT: And the welcome back package is up now. Well, this day just went from full of suck to kind of awesome.

I have black Icons as part of a theme I'm using on my PS3, so I just needed something for contrast. I anyone want's the same for another wallpaper with a black background, let me know because I've already got a template set up for them.

Just trying to look at some ponies to get myself in a better mood before going to sleep, and it worked pretty well.

Also, just one more thing, I know it's been said, but you guys are all awesome, and this is the best fandom I've ever even heard of, let alone been a part of.
