Depending on how the Perfect Pedal registers the data paths and signals and relays them back to the controller, it's conceivable, but we'll have to wait and see, hopefully they do, I just did a simple foam mod to my Xbox 360 wheels pedal (I bearing modded the wheel w/ Japanese Nachi bearing, holy crap does it feel good! Can't wait to try out the T500 :dopey:) and it's night and day difference. Do you have the T500 wheel yourself, and for that matter, has anyone else tried the T500 and the Real Pedal mod.

Got a link for the bearing mod?

I am still waiting for my wheel, got a second hand gamepod seat ealier today in anticipation of the steering wheel, hurry up amazon.co.uk

amazon.com type in the search menu: Thrustmaster T500 RS GT5 Wheel

Nope, it doesn't come up. I copy / pasted exactly what you wrote. I'm going to try calling Amazon.com right now and see what they tell me. Any other advice?

Update - Just talked with Amazon.com. The Customer Service agent couldn't pull it up. Anyone else have any luck locating it on Amazon.com or has it been pulled?

Ah, sorry to hear that bro! i know last night my buddy ordered 1 of 2 left from a 3rd party dealer on amazon.com. Amazon prolly' doesn't have anymore 3rd party dealers selling the wheel at the moment...i would keep calling amazon back on a daily basis if you want it that bad or unless you can scoop it up from somewhere else...however i will gladly sell you mine when it gets here for a million dollars haha jk :dopey:

I bought one from a third-party seller on Amazon using just that search string. At the time, there were two sellers, then a third, who had wheels on hand. They must have sold out.

A bunch of online shops had a few each in stock over the weekend, but they are almost all sold-out now. I found two (supposedly) left in stock here: http://www.nulime.com/thrustmaster-t500-rs-gt5-wheel/p549432

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the link Jeff! I canceled my Frys order and placed one on nulime.com. After doing some research, they look like a legit site but I did have to pay $30 more for tax. Oh well, as long as they ship my wheel soon I don't mind paying tax.

Haha, welll, I think I'll pass on purchasing your wheel for a million dollars (although I do want one that badly). I had a Fanatec GT2 on order for a month and a half now and just cancelled it after receiving word I wouldn't receive it until mid-March. At this point, I'm just annoyed with waiting for a wheel so I want something in the next few weeks.

Thanks again for all the help everyone. I'll be sure to post my thoughts on the wheel once I get it in the next 1-2 weeks.

Amazon.co.uk have sent me another email telling me that my order has been delayed again without a date. I guess they bothered to tell me about it which is a little bit good.

Same here. I guess Thrustmaster just didn't come through with the shipment. Lovely...

That's too bad. 👎

The postman is currently on-route with my T500RS. I'm at work though, so hopefully a neighbor will accept the package. :nervous:

Oh gosh, this is gonna cost me $949 NZD + shifter in a few months. The one and only time i wish i lived in the USA, does anybody know if amazon.com would ship to New Zealand? No outlet here will stock a T500, been a 4 week wait just for a "special order" G27.

Sorry but I found this on Obutto's facebook page : http://www.facebook.com/find-friends/#!/profile.php?id=100001551903195

seems T500RS is fully ok !

Yeah I hear you but Chris @ Obutto emailed me again 1/17 @ 1:30pm (Pacific) and said the wheel is a go with the clamp and has yet to verify the hard mount which is what I was referring to when I initially contacted him. The test that you're referring to that says the T500 is fully ok, only applies to the fitment for clamping, not hard mounting.

The clamp testing was done on a rig at the distributor not at Obutto. He also went on to say that he was probably wrong about Thrustmaster not contacting them to collaborate on compatibility as he realized Thrustmaster probably confused their contact with the distributor as contact with the company Obutto.

The way the Obutto wheel mount plate attaches to the support arm beneath is what concerns me. It looks like that arm may be in a bad spot based on where the hard mount holes in the bottom of the wheel are located.

Still, I am hopeful the wheel will be hard-mount compatible since I'd really like to purchase from this company because this appears to be a solid rig. Also, because Chris has personally taken the time to respond to my emails. It has been my experience that there are not many small companies that believe it is necessary to operate as such.

I ordered with amazon.com before shipping to Switzerland, so it's possible. Some items are restricted by region though. Just put it in the cart and checkout, you'll get a notification if shipment isn't possible.

"Een of meer artikelen uit uw bestelling kunnen niet geleverd worden op het opgegeven bezorgadres, geef daarom een ander bezorgadres op."

I guess that means they don't ship it to Switzerland eh? :dopey:
Indeed, sorry about that. :guilty: :)

Anyone able to comment on Emulation Mode with other games.
Very little has been reported on this so far. Yes it may suck but be interesting to hear peoples thoughts on it.

* Limited to 270 Rotation and no FFB

Does the wheel support rumble motors like a DS3 in emulation mode?

Sega Rally
Dirt 2
F1 2010

Or others......

Yerrr... ok now I'm a little confused. Amazon UK now lists the wheel as in stock but my order still stays "we'll notifiy you when blah blah".

Can't trust Thrustmaster, can't trust Fanatec, PD screwed the G27 on purpose. Wow, what does a shopper do...

Wait.
