It´s a very good video *thumb-up*

The 458Italia video part (where you took a Youtube vid) is a little "wrong". The Italia from that video had probably the Engine stage tunes or/and the Titan-Racing-Exhaust installed (probably max-tuned).
Because my max-tuned Italia sounds the same as the Italia from the vide part ;) And my stock Italia sounds like your Italia which you used.

Apart from that nice work.

Nice video man! thumbs up! 👍

I'm really happy to see people enjoying the video! Thanks for the patience in watch dudes!

Yeah man, thanks for notice that! It was my fault dudes! I hadn't notice that, I can't believe!!! I'm sorry for that..., I'm not used to tuning the cars in GT5 and I hadn't noticed that in the video descriptions was described this "F458 have more than 600cv..." :ouch:

Damn!

That Corvette clip sounded incredible, excellent work on the video:tup:👍

Thanks dude!!!

That's the best GT video I've ever seen. Not only was it a great topic and a well done video, but it was absolutely hilarious as well! Great work.

hahaha! I'm really happy to see these comments! Many thanks dude!!!

Nice vid, and very nice ending :D

haha I remember when I played Test Drive 1 in my PC386! I would never imagine in that time that nowadays we would have these kind of car's simulator we already have...

many tks in watch dude!!!

Outstanding video, a very fair representation of the sound quality you can achieve with the right home theatre setup. I have always said to my online racing buddies that I like the sound especially when you drive in third person view and they have said that I was crazy.

IMO all the car sounds need deeper sounds. the throatiness and bass of the sounds just isn't there

it's almost like the GT5 sounds are higher pitched

I really like your comment! Thanks for watching dude!

If you have time, watch this video. I made another one and here is possible to hear the "third person view"...

That 458 was music to my ears.
Great job on the video, showed a lot more of the technical beauty of GT5.

This video shows that the car sounds in gt need some work. Sure the cars sound better on better audio equipment, but they are still off. I'm listening to the video right now, not even looking at it and I can clearly tell when it switches from GT5 audio to real audio.

Of course dude, that was may point in the game...

"it is a video game and it isn't the real life ;)"

I agree with you that GT5 sound needs some work (specially the F430's when accelerating it) but I can't agree that the cars sounds, even in a right sound equipment, are still off.

I think GT5 sounding good for a video game

I'm preparing another one, with the SLS which I have already seen many people telling the car doesn't sound nice and I think it's so close to the real car (always remembering that it's a video game)

tks in comment and watching! 👍

brilliant video. I favourited it :)

Tks man!!! 👍

i agree that the sounds in GT5 seem like they're higher pitched, you don't get the feeling of an engine rumbling more like a vacuum cleaner buzzing or something, it doesn't sound authentic to an engine throughout the entire frequency range, listen to the engine/exhaust notes in Shift, even though the games aren't up to par with GT the cars all sound MEAN, like they really do have 500+ horsepower

Great video. 👍 Some of the cars do sound amazing on a good setup (like my own :sly:). But I don't think it's really an issue of the setup being used (if the game really only sounds well on high-end systems, that would mean it's mixed down rather poorly, which I don't believe), rather than the view you are using. From chase-cam (or as mentioned above: any 3rd person view, like in replays), almost all cars sound simply brilliant! However, the exhaust sounds are almost completely non-existant when using bumper cam. A bit less so from interior view, but varies from car to car. Most of the cars sound like crap from bumper cam IMO.

Gear whine is also inconsistent. For example, the '67 Ford Mk IV Race Car from cockpit or bumper sounds absolutely awful because of it. Put it in chase cam and it's the exact opposite: sounds absolutely amazing: pure audio-porn! On other cars, you hear the custom transmission much less (which is good IMO).

Which leads me to believe that most cars need only a bit of balancing of the various sound layers in order to sound amazing in all views. E.g. on the Mk IV reduce the gear whine and increase exhaust note in bumper and interior cam. Same for F430, sounds amazing from chase-cam, but it loses the exhaust note in other views. Just add a bit more exhaust note in interior and bumper view and it's perfect. 👍

Cars like the F40 definitely don't need any fixing though, sounds absolutely mental from any view. :D

Looking forward to the next video. :) 👍

Shift 2 is a bit over the top IMO, sounds like they just put all the car sounds through a distortion unit, even the stock cars sound completely pumped.

Brilliant video mate, loved it!

Some of the whines as mentioned by NLxAROSA are way too much, if they were notched down and the bass of the engine notes themselves were turned up, a lot of the cars would sound so much better. And yes, I do find the whine rather annoying, apart from when I'm driving any race-spec car, because that whine was always there from GT3 onwards in such cars. :)

Shove this in some Forza fanboy's face the next time they bring this 'issue' up. Great video!

I think this takes us to the real problem, PD should try and implement more bass in the sound clips by default than expect others to adjust the bass of their sound system.

First time I've come across this - Impressive video! Goes to show that the vacuum joke is invalid now. :D
