Wrong game guys. All X-COM players know that if you are in the smoke cloud you have a significantly better chance of not being hit while your aim is completely unaffected.

There is no way they would be able to see through the smoke while the other side can't see you. Smoke is just for cover. One thing is that guy was shooting at then with a shotgun from so far away and he's the one who hit and killed the black jail guy. It looked like a pretty wide spread pattern so I assume it was buck shot or something but I'm kinda doubting he would of died in real life just because the guy who hit him was just so far away. Next half of the season should be awesome cause now they have those knew people who want to kill them and these Woodbury guys. Plus everyone knows that they stay at the jail.

The black jail guy--I think his name was Oscar and I am going to refer to him as that for the rest of this post--had to die though. The show seems to have a quota on how many black guys can be in Rick's group. There was the guy in Atlanta. Never heard from again. Then T-Dog and his death recently. As soon as the new guy showed up at the jail, Oscar stood no chance of surviving the Woodbury raid.

Quite liked Oscar, was rather disappointing to see his quick death that was caused due to Rick's hallucination of Shane...

As others have said, there were several questionable moments in the episode and overall, something about it didn't have much effect on me as other cliffhangers... Probably just me.

Lol they filled their black quota so Oscar had to go. At least next half you should see it better for the blacks. The main guy of the new group seems to be a nice guy. He respected Carl even tho the kid is like 12 and if you saw the next episode preview his group wants to kill them because they think it's just Carl, that blonde girl, and one legged Hershel. He says it's not a good idea and try to stop them. I think once Rick gets back they will be good friends. Rick is pretty much alone now and since Lori died the dude has totally lost it. Definitely needs some sort of support to keep him focused again.

^Why not keep a pet Zombie if you lonely? Seems to be pretty common (michonne, Gov.,..)

I just started watching these Walking Dead episodes a couple weeks ago on Netflix. So far this has been a great show. I just finished Season 2: Episode 7 last night and just wow....Spoiler ahead!
After waiting episode after episode for them to find Sophia. What a tragic and dramatic episode that was the way they found her. That entire episode was just so gut wrenching busting the barn open and letting all the "people" out. Actually made me tear up a little bit when she came walking out at the very end. So sad. Very very sad episode.

^ You're in for a treat with season 3 then... Gets WAAAYYYY better :) Season 2 was good, but a bit slow at times imo and season 3 switches it up.

Probably a little late with season two spoilers.

Argh the break is killing me already. I wanna see zombies!!!

Hmm I guess I just finished season 2 which is all I can watch on Netflix. :guilty: Is season 3 available on DVD? How many seasons are there? But answer this next question first.

Spoiler question about the end last episode of Season 2.
Who or what the heck was that black woman with the 2 walker slaves? Thats just beyond strange. My concern is that its just going to get cheesy now. Before that point, it was a very good show but thats really just beyond strange.

^It's a fan favorite caracter. And she is really cool. The slaves are explained (kind of) in the 3rd season.

It doesn't get chessy. It will get bloody messy in season 3. If you liked the shoot out episodes in season 2, you're in for a treat in season 3...

Can't you watch them on Hulu or something like that,... there should be legal streams for US residents

Amazon has them for $1.99 an episode, $1.89 if you buy a season pass.

I don't think there are any legal free streams right now.

Thanks for the replies. So about $24.00 to watch the current Season 3 up to the 8th episode. Hmm I will have to think about it. So if these are purchased from Amazon they instantly stream? I have never tried anything like this.

Yes, they instantly stream and if you have a PS3 or Roku (I don't think the Xbox has it yet, but I haven't looked since I have a remote for my PS3 and a Roku) they have Vudu and Amazon Instant Video apps. If you have Amazon Prime it also includes a Netflix like streaming service, but the selection is not much different than what Netflix offers. If you want newer stuff you have to buy or rent, similar to Vudu.

EDIT: You also never know when they will run a marathon. Personally, if you have a DVR, I would suggest waiting to see if they do that in January or something before paying.

Minor rant: Why can't these services offer a TV rental option the way they do for movies? Does anyone want to own that one episode you missed because you were out if town, or whatever? I mean, for $0.99 I would pay to watch a TV episode once. My wife missed an episode of one of her shows last year and now it sits in my Amazon library, mocking me that I paid $1.99 + tax so she could watch it once.

They did a marathon before the last episode too. Saw it posted on facebook. I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again in February.

Thanks again. Hmm I might try to resist and hold off until it goes onto Netflix. Not sure yet.

As for waiting for a DVR, I dont even have cable. I only have the internet with no tv channels. I never watch tv. The only time I watch a movie or show is through Netflix. Most of my free time is gaming online. Thats why it is so rare for me to get hooked onto a series like this.

Awesome first half of the season and I cannot wait to see what happens to the group when the show comes back.

Season 4 confirmed.

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=98311

Today, AMC announces the season 4 pick-up of The Walking Dead.

AMC also jointly announces with Glen Mazzara today that for future seasons, the two parties have mutually decided to part ways. Glen guided the series creatively for seasons 2 and 3. AMC is grateful for his hard work. We are both proud of our shared success.

Both parties acknowledge that there is a difference of opinion about where the show should go moving forward, and conclude that it is best to part ways. This decision is amicable and Glen will remain on for post-production on season 3B as showrunner and executive producer.

Hmm, don't know how to feel about this. Season 1 was amazing, but when he took over in season 2, it was apparent the show had changed a bit, but my faith was renewed in season 3. Going to be hard to get used to yet another persons creative ideas when the show is still somewhat young.

Glad they're doing a season 4 I'm just hoping it doesn't change the show around too much. I like it how it is now.

Lol ya same. I got this app that keeps track of newest shows for me since I hate when I'm excited for a show to be on and it's not for whatever reason. It said this show has new eps very soon. Getting pumped.
