It wasn't deleted, that's a spin-off of what was in the show. Seems like a fake, to me, to be honest.

As stated in the article link posted.

EW
Rick Grimes went a little nuts last season on The Walking Dead after his wife Lori died. He started hearing things and then seeing things — things that weren’t actually there. But, as a new exclusive deleted scene from the upcoming Walking Dead season 3 DVD/Blu-ray set shows, it could have been even worse. Much worse.

I've been watching through The Walking Dead again in preparation for the fourth season coming out soon. I've just finished the second season and have seen it all in a totally new and different way, as there were so many things I hadn't noticed before.

Most of all is the fact that Shane was definitely my favourite character. Before, when it aired on TV I didn't particularly like how overly aggressive he was in a lot of the episodes but now when I watch it through again, I find myself actually agreeing with him on almost everything. And I've started to put a lot of doubt into some of the other characters who I had previously thought of as the one's doing the right thing.

I'm waiting for Season three to release on Blu-Ray at the end of the month, then it's not long at all until Season four! :D Does anyone have a link to the trailer for S4 that isn't restricted in the UK? All of the trailers I've searched for or have tried watching in this thread don't allow me to watch them.

Also, this was by far my favourite scene out of the first two seasons. What was yours?

My favourite scene in the first two seasons was probably when
Edwin Jenner explains why he was the only scientist left at the CDC.
It was a really sad moment IMO.

Tops goes to the ending of the game though. Dear, sweet Jesus, better than the show, I think.

Going back to the very first episode for mine:

When Morgan's shooting walkers from the top floor, spots his wife and breaks down. Rick going back to the park and mercy killing the walker he met earlier, with 'The Mercy Of The Living' playing during the entire sequence.

Oh boy, I forgot about Mercy of the Living. That's my favourite, actually, really perfect scene that pulled me right into the show.

Oh man, I forgot about that scene too. I'll describe why I liked the Barn scene so much.

When Shane see's what Rick is doing, he's had enough. He decides that they need to see the reality of the situation and shows it to them, without hesitation. The realisation on Hershels face when Shane shoots the walker and it doesn't fall, and the dialogue that followed...

"Hey, Hershel, man, let me ask you something. Can a living breathing person, could they walk away from this?"
[shoots walker in its chest]
"That's three rounds in the chest. Could someone who's alive, can they just take that? Why is it still coming?"
[shoots walker in its chest again]
"That's its heart, its lungs. Why is it still coming?!"
[shoots it again]

"Shane, enough!"

"Yeah, you're right, man. That is enough."
[shoots it dead.]

Not having the characters and events of the comics/current TV series tied in with the companion series seems bold though. But with the success the show has had in the past 3 years, it's not all that surprising.

I'd like to see how they'll deal with making another completely different set of characters for this. Especially ones as likable as some of the guys in the current series, and whether or not the current series will end before this spinoff premiers.

The plot thickens. Here's hoping the current show doesn't tank by then!

I've always pegged it as a 5 season series myself. I hope it doesn't run itself into the ground if it lasts any longer than that.

When's this come back again?

October 18 on FOX in the UK. 5 days after it airs in the US.

This show is good now but for how long do you think they can keep it entertaining? Eventually it's gonna be super repetitive with them stuck trying to escape walkers all the time.

Well it's held up well enough for 3 seasons. Lately though, it's been more along the lines of "Finding a place to holding out against walkers, introducing new characters while killing off others as a firebrand on the outside tries to wipe them all out. Oh, and leadership issues.".

Walkers weren't the primary threat for much of last season, and it shows that the "running from walkers" formula hasn't been the only thing they're working on. But it's known that they're developing it for season 4 along with a changing group dynamic, and being rather tight-lipped when it comes to info surrounding any other antagonists.

Read the graphic novels, walkers have never been the primary threat, nor are they way past the point we are at with the TV series.

Typical opening for the season to be honest, nice establishment of Rick's humanity. I just hope I enjoy this season finale over the last season.

Was a decent ep. I hate when shows just jump super far into the future. They went to having nothing to a whole farm village all the sudden. It was still interesting tho. I know all the previews said this season is they are almost trapped in the prison. Zombies everywhere. That kid who died in the shower I'm thinking will bite someone else and that will start off a chain reaction. I hope they have that pig die and turn into a zombie pig. It would be kinda funny lol.

No spoiler alert...? Also that aint no regular kid

It's really stupid that Hershel SUDDENLY has a prosthetic leg!!! Seriously, they couldn't make that part of the season? Yeah, Harry Potter is going bite a few people before he's given an axe to the skull. Carl is going to impregnate the blonde. Or kill whatever schmo hits on her again. The spoiler tags don't work with mobile users, we simply can't see it, at all :(

Harry Potter? Dude that is the great Phineas Flynn. As for the rest, that is just crazy rambling.

There is no predicting where this show will go. They can kill anyone at any time! Phineas Flynn means nothing to me. If he's the voice of Spongebob, or Ren, or Stimpy, or Beavis, or Jake The Dog, or something, then I might know him. I'm 43 dude.

It was really cool to see "Nathan Drake" on Talking Dead ;) (And I have a damned Stink Bug flying around my basement!!!! It just crashed into a wall)

Jake the Dog for 43...not cool, I kid. Age is a number I'm 23 and I watch everything. I'm just good with pop culture is all.

My kids (25 & 13) know right away who Phienas Flynn is. My daughter begged me to watch Adventure Time with her. It's amusing.

Interesting Episode 1. I already was suspicious about Patrick. When he ask to be Excused. But when he Collapsed. And he was all Bloody O.o. Now that was like Dafak. Episode 2 going to be very intense. With now a walker [aka Patrick] in the Prision. Did he get the sickness from the Meat... Or from another source.. Kinda O.o. Poor Zack though when he got eaten by a "crawler?" He just got eaten very fast .

I knew something was going to happen with that Patrick guy (kid?). He went to the shower in the middle of night and collapses. 🤬 just happened moment. Just when everyone thought they're safe in the prison...
