LOL i laugh at your list. :lol: the minolta the worst car in the game ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. the autounion was buid for the ring so of course it sucks everywhere else. the slr is a beast with slicks.

I understand him saying the SLR. I know it's a good car but after M34 I hate it, I hate it! I hate it soooo much!! :yuck: OK, give me my meds! :)

As for the LMP cars this guy has no clue!

I know the Auto Union was built for speed around an oval, but I got mine to work very nice at Nurburgring. I don't drive it much though! :indiff:

It's a drift car. They aren't JGTC racers. Sorry if anyone's replied to this before; I'm still reading through the 4th page of this thread...
 
most of the complaints in this thread are irrelevant, as the idiots that complain use the cars in places where of course they wont do good. there should b a shaking head smily.
 
I would have to say the worst is the Lister Storm. Someone in the old GT2 forum used to call it the "Laster" (where it always finished) and it hasn't improved much since then. I've tested 42 race cars on 16 different tracks for best lap times and the Lister finished 41st (it beat the NSX-R Prototype LM).
 
Worst car IMO, is probably the plymmouth firebird. It handles like it's got jelly babies instead if springs, Other worst are anything built by Datsun, or Chrysler.

You're going to get flamed for that. IMHO, the Datsun 510 handles very well for a 70's car, even if it is slow as a brick. It's a good drive.
 
For me a good car means three things

Handling, power and looks. Hence there are very few cars I really like (examples include XJ220 and DB9 also Lotus E-type)

Everyone makes mistakes. But I have to agree, it's one of the best-looking sports cars ever.

For the price, I'd say the Cizeta is the worst, I had trouble keeping it on the road in the Italian championship! :ouch:

i totally agree with the first point. the cizeta is the absolute worst car in the game for me (disregarding the daimler/benz/model t/etc.)

it handles like a...well, actually it doesn't handle at all. it insists on going straight at all times, unless you throttle down to first gear and even then it takes real effort to rotate the car. :crazy:

as for the cars looks, it's ugly as sin. it's like a diablo and a 'rossa had an ugly red-headed step child.

never trust a car that was developed by one of the same guys who did "i feel love" (moroder) with donna summers!

ford gt '05, or whatever the hell its called. i never get much time to play GT4, so when i run around the ring twice and lose by .075 it isnt good!

poor little tamora, sooo close.

What the hell is a plymmouth firebird??? Pontiac makes the Firebird! :rolleyes:

As for the Datsun's, the 510, 240 and 280 are some of the best cars from that time!

I LOVE the Superbird it has a soo funny suspension, always boncing from one side to another :) a joy to drive :dopey: (althought a 5th gear wouldn't hurt 💡 )

Aside from all of the craptacular pre '88 heaps... I think any of the Sprinter Truenos that reak of '80's awesomeness suck pretty bad. :yuck:

The Chaparral 2J is almost impossible to control on certain courses. Uneven surfaces will just murder the handling. I'm still working on one to find a perfect setup, but I don't think it's likely. I'd swear it bottoms out down near the back of the straight on Sarthe circuit. Even with high clearance and high spring rate it feels like it's bottoming out. It's an evil beast. However on tracks such as Tsukuba, Suzuka or Fuji it is nearly as smooth as can be. Flat is good. Bumpy is bad, bad, bad.

ok that chaparral is got to be the best car i ever owned even b-spec tard won every race i ran in it.
i hate the fiat 500, absolutely horrid. bought one to do the man. cup did everything i could think of drove it once and sold it cause it sucked!! :crazy:

Nooo! They're great! They're meant to be a rally car so take one off road and see how much fun you have.... :D

My worst? Lister Storm, all pick-up trucks (fine if you're a builder or a guerilla, otherwise a deeply flawed mode of transport), all those damn ugly little 63 bhp boxes (does anybody outside Japan choose to race one?), and finally that damn Daihatsu Midget!! It's bad enough that it's in the game, but they always make you race it. :yuck:

Have you already drove the Lister Storm in GT4? P.D has fixed the handling 👍 and it's quite competitive.

I think that the trucks are fun to race :dopey:

Minicars RULE man! DO a minicar race with a friend and you will find very challenging; a nanosecond off the gas and the race can be lost... and they are good to find the perfect racing line. I'm out side Japan (Portugal) and I race with them.

The Daihatsu Midget is cool! :cool: And the cars that make GT4 unique are cars like the Midget and the other small/underpowered cars, because most of the games only has powerfull cars and most people doesn't has powerfull cars :guilty: :indiff: so they can drive their real life urderpowered car in GT4! :)

Any RUF. no matter how one alters the settings, or leaves them stock, the handling doesn't improve. true, they're fast, but it doen't help if you have to do 25 mph in the corners.
 
too much kei cars suck.. sure some of them are cute.. but hey.. I like drifting and i like it best @ around 700-800hp like my nissan skyline M.N.P. 2 damn its fun..

and the small 3 wheel midget rocks..

the worst car is.. *drum roll* the AE86 tureno... it ugly has no skyle drives like crap no hp. and the paintjob looks like a bad day in the 80´s (even the new ones) I think most of the 80´s cars are ugly but this takes the price..
