The Worst Car in GT4

I have a few hated cars, somthing i didnt have many of in GT3. One of my first cars was infact my dream car in real life, so i was gutted when it turned out crappy. Nissan Skyline R34 V-Spec 2, maybe some of the worst breaking in GT4, broke my heart when i raced it.

Another one would be the TVR speed 12. Its like trying to race a jumbo jet.

Aston Martin V8 vantage - oh god, dont get me started. 250K down the pan for one of the greatest looking cars on the planet. Shame it handles like a boat.

I also hate every Honda in GT4 (apart from the GT1 S2000, maybe a few other S200 too). I dont know what it is, but they just all seem so ... poor. I used to love the Castrol NSX, but its so poor IMO. The Integra is the worst money i have spent so far.

EDIT: damn i forgot about the Zonda (not the race cars) Turn like oil tankers, break like oil tankers, cost as much as you earn in 10 years. I dont have the race car yet (damn slipstream mission), but i hope its better to handle than this JCB digger they call a super car.

1st - Nissan Skyline R34 V-Spec 2 / Integra Type R
2nd - V8 Vantage / Zonda 7.2
3rd - Honda NSX (all of them) / Speed 12 TVR

Here's mine:

1. BMW E46 M3: (regular M3) you problably all want to kill me for saying this, but it just doesn't fell right to me, it's to damn neutral.

2. Cizeta V16 : I think it looks awesome (love the wide booty ;) ) but not a good car for driving. (love the engine sound though)

3. Sprinter Trueno S.S. Version: I don't hate this car per se, but my old tuned regular Trueno made it look like a base-model Civic, (the engine is freaking awesome though  )

4. MK1 VW Golf: The legend is not so great in GT4. (it's attractive visually though)

5. Silvia S15: It doesen't feel as balanced as the S13 and S14.

well there a lot of bad cars in GT4 from a racing standpoint, but here's my opinion on the overall worst:

1. the new WRX. I went into Boxer Spirit with it and got smoked by a Legacy Wagon!!

2. Auto Union. 'Nuff said.

3. F-150 Lightning, or any of the trucks for that matter.

4. Fiat 500r. Sure it's old, but the C1 Vette is old too. But it can still go uphill.:dunce:

5. Kei Cars, mainly the Honda Beat and the Daihatsu Copen (both models). They just seem out of place in a racing game. :indiff:

They're a staple of Gran Turismo and Japan, you sir need to get a Mazda AZ-1 and a Suzuki Cappuccino and enjoy some fun small cc motoring ASAP! 👍

GT-R is a amazing car in the game. I beat half my game with that esact car. (almost stock) and i was beatiing SLR's, Zonda's, the whole lot. You obiously don't know how to fiddle with settings, or even drive.

I have a feeling, you just get a car, mod it to the max, and expect to win a race. and considering the Speed 12 comes with 800hp, what do you expect? i to drive like a Mini? You my friend don't know how to use settings.

I found this car in paticular, stunning. With a little bit of work, some R3's the car puts of some good times.

hmm... never heard of a S200? new car? prototype? somthing we missed? heh
You sure my friend, are on some strong stuff. NSX, S2000, and Integra, all to me are beasts. I love driving them, there sharp around the corner. And they all look very nice.

So your saying a car that can go 210mph stock isn't a supercar?
And no, the car DOES handle very nicly. Breaks are a little wompy, but a fantastic car to drive, and IMO look at. Zonda is probally one of my favorite cars of all time. I like it sooo much, it seems like somthing from StarTrack, which right there makes a supercar.

You basically, hate all cars other then what seems to be American cars. And you where complaing about brakes and them driving like oil tankers  that is the funniest thing ANYONE has said. And to me, you sound quit serious

Now it sounds like your saying, that Motor cars from 100 years ago will smoke a GT-R, Zonda, TVR, NSX, Aston Martin. These are some of the biggest names out there. Theres no way in bloody hell these things are crap. These cars a great marvels of engineering. These are all UK's, Italys, and Japan's prize cars, there NOT crap.

yeah those are the ones that I like and they are pretty fun against each other :)

Interesting list... I would have disagreed with some of them, but most of the reasons you give are pretty valid... except, how can anything be too damn neutral? Or I guess, what you're trying to say is the M3 isn't challenging enough? :sly:

2nd - V8 Vantage / Zonda 7.2

Rather than repeat Yoda's rant  ...I'd like to say that four of your most hated cars are some of the best handling cars in the game.

The Integra Type R is hands down one of the fastest and most neutral (except under throttle through long sweepers) front-wheelers in the game... putting it as the number-one-worst-car-in-the-game would automatically mean that there aren't any other front wheel drive cars in the game... which is weird, because last I looked, there were... lots.

If you hate the Zonda, I shudder to think what you think of the Ford GT, the Saleen, the Lotus Esprit, the Jaguar XJ220... etc... because in testing on a short handling course, the Zonda hands them all their asses on a platter. And regarding brakes... at supercar velocities, on sports tires, with a stiff suspension and no active downforce, everything brakes pretty wonky.

The NSX is also a puzzling choice. They're the most neutral-handling cars in the game. And in 500hp concept form, probably the fastest non-racecar around a track. 💡

The Skyline is always a matter of taste... some people just can't stand any kind of understeer... but it's very good for a bantamweight AWD car, although quirks in the game engine handicap AWD cars against comparable RWD cars. Still, among AWD cars, it's terrifically quick.

-----

The Speed 12 is also a matter of taste, and it's so insanely undriveable for rookies (and even some experienced players... I used to suck at it) that it deserves the hate. But trust me, when you get better at throttle control and acquire a more delicate control feel (takes a while), you'll find no problem driving this thing. :)

The Vantage? Oh yes, it's a boat... but there are a lot of boats worse than it.

I'll put it this way niko, I think the Yellowbird is the most rewarding car to drive in GT4, once you learn to ride this beast, you never wanna get off! 👍 BTW only the base M3 gives me problems, the CSL and GTR are fine.

I think me and Niky said about that same things
Rookie: Only able to handle easy to ride, and not terably fast cars. (Elise, Civic, M Coupe, Small light cars is what they can handle.)
Experts: People who spend way to much time, are able to handle with ease, any car in the game. I think i'll fall in that if i can control a fully moded Dodge Charger drifting  (one of my favorite cars in the game)

I personally cannot stand the Cizeta v16T.👎👎👎 That thing has massive oversteer, it revs high but shifts slow, and worst of all it doesnt want to stay on the course (even at low low low speeds).

I mean I got out of my 350 Camaro and into this thing and boy can I tell you that I'd way rather drive a late 60's american car/boat than this Italian piece of junk. I have nothing against Italian cars but what in the world were they thinking designing this car?! It gives Lambo and Ferrari a bad name.

And I'm 60 percent into my second time through this game. Win it, Sell it.

No it doesn't :indiff:

I don't think a Volkswagon is a Mercedes because it's German.

Very true 👍

Skyline Pace Car, Tank Car and Cizeta are very disapointing cars but none is worse than the Toyota 2000GT 1967 (Ultra-hated Mission # 11):banghead:

The 1800s mercedes cars. i mean they are totally useless

I agree, there's absolutely no place for them in the game, you cant race them, you cant even drive them cuz they cant drive up hills. My other dissapointment is the Plymouth Superbird, i mean, most American muscle cars handle retarded, but you can get away with sliding them round corners, but this thing is an absolute discgrace, oversized wing, too long, and you have to take corners at 5kp/h !!! :grumpy:

*points at your post*

I just hate all of the stupid Japanese classics - like the Nissan Bluebird, etc.

I really hate the SLR. I don't like the handling of that overweight thing. And besides that, it's one of the must ugliest cars ever designed. Apart from that I really can't stand the Caterham. I mean, if the car would be able to be raced against other cars, or even only in a one make race, it would be a very, very cool car. But when it's only able to drive alone it's just stupid.

If your talking about the 1979 model Bluebird with the crappy 4 speed transmission, ok but NEVER disrespect the 510! Ok, it has a 4 speed too,:dopey: but the handiling speaks for itself. 👍 Also, why do you hate Japanese classics so much? They're quite possibly my favorite era of cars in GT4, so much history and innovation is represented in those cars.

BTW, I found a new car that I now love and hate, the 54' Vette! it's a great car in that it's sexy, sleek, and has a chassis that can make N1 tires fell like R5's, the con is that it has a weak 2 speed auto with a unwilling Blue Flame inline six.

For $1,000,000 the Gillet Vertigo has to be considered "most disappointing".

Much to be said about "most disappointing". I also state that the Gillet is not the worst car to drive, but considering the specs (900 HP, 780 KG) it should do a lot better. It seems to have relatively weak downforce and high tire wear. Worth almost nothing at all for specs close to the Mazda 787B. In every race I've seen the Vertigo it is genuine B-spec fodder.

Another car I consider "most disappointing" is the BMW McClaren F1 GTR Race Car. That thing should fly. It's weight isn't shown, but it should be relatively light. That thing is a dog. Poor downforce. Very squirrely under braking. Tries to swap ends. (All this after intensive suspension adjustments). I can A-spec it pretty well, but it remains a B-spec crapster.

I guess what one perceives of a fine-looking race car from an aesthetic point of view and one that actually runs fine are quite different.

Oh my god. How can you not like the SLR? Its a total supercar and it was born to do what it does: Go fast!. Its not overweight.

I Agree 👍 , if you are going to talk about overweight cars, mention the TVR's, the Plymouth Super Bird or even the Tank Car, but not the SLR..the only thing that may lead you to think that it's overweight, may be the breaks...they are a little lousy but other than that, the SLR is great. Is just a matter of knowing the basics of racing to handle it well :sly:

Well...those cars arent that fast, they look like cheap rip-off of American cars (some, like the Honda....cant remember its name) Thats why :sly:

And it's not even the brakes. You ppl are jsut locking up the front tyres.

Money is never an issue with GT4. lol. And besides, what do you expect from a supercar? 10K price tag? Has to be expensive to be exclusive, and vice versa.
