i hate the tuerno sprinter, slow and boring and looks crap

even when you do them up, its still boring

Im contradicting everyone today. Lol :sly:

Well, man, I guess I have to say: I disagree. The Trueno is a natural-born classic and a Great Drifter in my book. :sly:

Yea, The Trueno is a slow little peice of junk. That along with my new car that I hate.. the Jay Leno tank car. It has:grumpy: 900hp and accelerates(sp?) like my moms car.

I agree and disagree with you. The Trueno is great, you should try the SS version, the one with the black hood (I started to love the 86 seeing Initial D). And the tank car is just a pice of junk, a car with 400hp is faster that that.

Well....pretty obvious considering the weight of the car.

I really don't like the Ford GT. It's a nice car, fast, manuverable, but the brakes are terrible in my opinion. When approaching a 90 degree turn after a long straight, unless you brake very early you will slam into the wall. I bought the car for the supercar races and some American hall stuff, and I really wanted to like it, but it just wasn't working for me.

Now I've heard that the GT's brakes are "so good" that they lock up if you slam on them. I was braking the same way as I do any other car, but for some reason the GT was different. So I tried applying them slower and there was no difference. It's been sold.

Sooo....is the Ford GT the worst car in the game for you?

Ciao...

The brakes on GT do suck though. You need some skills to stop that thing, but by no means is GT a bad car because of its brakes.

My contribution: Subaru 360, Daihatsu Midget Type-D, Honda N350

Didn't mention that crapp ol' Merc, or the Ford Model T?

I think the Model T or the motor carriage both has history behind it, but Subaru 360, Daihatsu Midget and N350 dont really have one. Not that they werent important but they arent that well known and they didnt cause an uproar in the society, etc.

Maybe they have history behind them in Japan?

Ok im officialy proclaiming that stupid Cizetta as my worst car to drive.. It has absolutely nothing to show for that so called V-16.. This thing couldnt turn if it meant going to the junkyard and getting crushed.. this car is the definition of brokin controller and spending 25 bucks on a new one.. maybe its just me and i could try a setup from some1 but right now my impresion isnt good..

So tell me, what kind of an uproar or complete change did it cause in Japan?

As far as I know, Model T was the first mass-produced vehicle, which meant almost everyone can afford one. Great change.

Motor Carriage is the first motor vehicle. Father of all vehicles around. Great change.

Honda N360? Big seller, but plagued with problems. I have a Japanese book on Soichiro and his creations, don't doubt this one.

Subaru 360? Some little 15hp car for the masses. Did it pioneer anything or cause some kind of a big change in society?

The toyota hybrid is pretty slow when its battery's are dead. it takes 29~30 seconds to get to 100KPH (62MPH) !

but the worst must be the Toyota Carina ED 2.0 X 4WS because its this big heavy saloon with twin exhaust pipes, a sleek body and massive 2L engine (for euro/Japanese standards 2L is massive, honda squeezes 250HP out of this capacity about the same as the USS Enterprise) and so one would suspect it has enough horsepower for respectable performance and handles well for a car this size like for example a lexus GS430 would. But guess what, it doesn't, it only has 112 HP ! and the worst part is its an FF, so after some brutal acceleration you approach a corner and brake. What happens next is what some would like to call "The Chaos Theory". 4tons of steel and plastic are pushing the front tyres, who are trying to get the car, with the aid of the engines whopping 112 HP, through a corner..... right.

But didn't it state that it was a 4WS ? yes, but that doesn't mean it supports 4WheelDrive. I guess back then it was some sort of evil scheme toyota would use to sell more cars making you believe it had 4WheelDrive. The abbriviation would just state the fact the car had 4WheelS. Don't know if it worked .... had me fooled though.

But seriously, i don't think there are any bad cars in this game. but the game does contain alot of cars wich are unnecessary. I can understand that if there is a adjusment to the cars exterior or engine bay you want to have both versions. but whats the point having both the Nissan Skyline GTS-t Type M R32 '89 and a Nissan Skyline GTS-t Type M R32 '91 (i really would like to know the difference, tell me if you know). or a Mazda RX-7 type RZ '92 vs. '93 ? anyone ? In my opinion they could have cancelled 1 of those 2 and given us the FB3S.

That is because it stand for 4 Wheel-Steer, an option most Japanese cars from the era came with, at lower speeds, the rear wheels would turn in the opposite direction than the fronts at about 5-10 degrees. While at higher speeds they would steer the same direction as the fronts, so if you were good enough, and upped the rear steer angle, you could potentially crab the car down the road at 100km/h!

First off, there is no such thing as an 'FB3S' the correct chassis designation is 'SA22C.'

Secondly, the two different years could easily have been for different torque curves, as some people would have liked the earlier curve than the later, or vice-versa. It coould be a number of different things, such as final drive ratios, minor engine cooling things, brakes etc. I say the difernt years are acceptible, but in the case of the BNR34, a different colour doesn't warrent a new vehicle slot.

Cheers,
Matt.

Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto '66

Why does this even exist in this game?
http://www.supercars.net/cars/1956.html
The glamorous Duetto, which starred in The Graduate alongside Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft, was redolent of the 1960s and yet has proved a long lived classic. It was the last design personally executed by the famous Battista Pinin Farina and its name was the result of a competition run by the manufacturer at the time of its launch in 1966. Styling cues include the so-called 'cuttlefish-bone' profile with a rounded nose and tail, the Alfa Romeo shield dividing the front bumper.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_Spider
Based on an Giulia 105 series chassis, the Spider was launched in 1966. Unnamed at launch, the name "Duetto" was chosen in a write-in competition in Italy. The Italian firm of Pininfarina was responsible for the design of the body, as well as being involved in the manufacture of the vehicle's monocoque construction (designed with the relatively new principles of crumple zones incorporated into the front and rear). The engine was a 1570cc variant of the Alfa Romeo twin camshaft four cylinder engine, and produced 109 hp. Sparsely fitted inside but including five speed transmission, disc brakes and independent front suspension, the price on launch in Italy was 2,195,000 lire.

all that info's nice, but the suspensions about as stiff as a wet noodle, the power curve, or lack thereof I can forgive... but corner too hard and you'll scrub the sideviews off on the pavement...

DUDE, you don't under stand, maybe because it has hostory, doesn't mean it's a great racer. In a race a 360 WOULD DOMINATE a Ford Model T. So how does it make a Mode T a better car? Infact YOU CAN'T EVEN RACE IT!! WTF! It has no use in the game, other in photo mode.
And if you can get a 360 to go over 120-130, doesn't really make it that crappy........

ok the midget what was with that. even though i found it interesting having a 12hp 3 wheeler with a 100shot of nitro.lol. but here is my question why have the damn CRX. i admit i love thaqwt car but once you beat the FF races it is usless it can't be using in the civic race or the type R race.

You can still use it in others... The CRX is a fun car, infact it's one of my favorite in GT4..

The 360 is from '59 I believe, Model T was from '09 I think.

50 year gap.

Corvette C5R. A totally useless backmarker. A road obstacle.

It should have been so much better. Every B-spec race I've seen it in delegates it to the back of the pack, being lapped constantly and always in the pits for tires. What use is it? In GT3 it was a much better car. I was able to make it hang tough against the Toyota GT-One and other LMP cars. Now the C5R is a dog. Overweight and seemingly underpowered compared to it's competition.

Maybe I just haven't found the right place to use it yet. However it does look good and that counts for something.

The worst purchasable car in stock form has to be the Honda Element! :yuck: Without a modified transmission, this thing will not accelerate! It's like turbo-lag, but without the turbo!!! ;)

I tried the Element a few weeks ago, and was annoyed that my controller seemed to be broken after a lap of Costa di Amalfi. Then I realized I was trying aimlessly to downshift to 0th gear.

If ever think twice about spending 10-11K on a racing tranny for a car, try the Element first.

If you are having problems braking from high speed, then all you need to do is put the breaks on at half, and it will slow down better. It works well in the Speed 12, which doesn't brake well from high speeds, e.g. 200mp/h+, at the best of times, though cold tyres may not help. You should give it a chance. I started off the game with it, and it did me fine.

With the way I drive in GT4, the Cizeta V16-T is the worst performing car. It just handles so bad  , but I'm not too sure, I might be a noob at driving this car.

EDIT: I thought the Cien was low in performance, too. Top speed was good, but the gear shifts are kind of slow, compared to other cars in GT4.
