The Aston Martin DP-100 VGT is even more of a threat now. Medium Comfort tyres and maximum engine power.

Just did this in my SM shod Atenza for the first time since the update. Fronts were going towards the end and I only passed a no stop Suswillo on the last lap. Found it interesting he didn't stop. I also thought it stayed wetter for longer at the start but not sure on that.

Does anyone feel that the Alfa Romeo 8C Competition fully tuned with a setup would be viable for this race after the PP issue is fixed.

I have one fully tuned/setup which seems to do well in the early part of the race on racing hard tyres but then my fuel strategy is about as efficient as Gallo's and I have to pit on the second last lap for a splash n dash which usually costs the race win.

Also have the Corvette C7 fully setup too but I find that car such a struggle to handle well in the 1st corner braking zone so any tune tips would be welcomed!
Try the NIsmo 400 R easy win

BWM
Heard they nerf the fuel consumption here and fire up GT7 for a quick run, nice to see EV can win again:)

I've been working all week on the Polstar. It seems to have the biggest range for all stock EVs under 600p. With stage 3 weight reduction you can win with no pit.

I'm currently attempting it with only stage two weight reduction. It's an interesting strategy of making use of the regenerative braking as much as possible while keeping pace to get over the line in front.

Something different.

Well, it took me all week but I finally won with a Clean Race Bonus in the Polster with only 2 mods - Stage 1 & 2 Weight Reduction.

The weight reduction got me some more range in the battery but not enough to make it all the way to the end. That could only be achieved by making good use of the regenerative braking.

This was the most fun I've had in an EV. Worth a look.

Here is my WIP tune on the Suzuki Cappuccino(Rocketcino) on Tokyo.
Any tips on improving the setup are welcome.

This race can be done entirely on Sport Softs
I done it in 24:16, could've done it faster if it wasn't for the ai being snails on the corners.
I am a C ranked driver(could be higher but stopped playing online years ago)

A Couple of recent races at Tokyo. The EVO and GT-R are V8 swapped.
McLaren F1...........because why not do in 20M credit style.
The Aventador is lovely and one of my favorite cars.

i used lancers back when it had x3 fuel to play the waiting game

Currently can get 2:07.5~2:10, on average can get 2:09 on the first lap using this newer tune I am working on.
Remove 10seconds for the laps 2-12 and you are looking at a potential sub 24min run

Super easy to drive, and unfortunately since the changes to this race, after the first lap is just a sprint alone to the finish line.

Have it hitting a plateu at around 325 km/h, and appart from the Sport exhaust and Stage 1 weight removal (with some ballast added to even out numbers and PP), everything else is maxed out.

Its super forgiving, and laps around the 2.08 mark, with my best lap being 2.07.825, but not that I was trying to get a quick lap in.

Slight improvement on the time.
Only issue is tire wear has gone way up, so more tuning needed.

Improved time, yet again.
Tire wear slightly improved(thin white bar instead of being fully worn)
Ai got in the way a lot.

Tire wear better, Time is not as bad as the Ai did not get in the way.
Slight mistake on Lap 8 where I braked late into T1.

After spending nearly 2 weeks at it, I finally done a sub 24 minute time.
The last run told me it was possible and seeing as I did some errors, I knew it could be done with my skill level.
Little more tweaking of the settings and it made the car feel a little more consistent with the lap times.

I believe if you Start turning a bit later, to reduce corrections mid corner to the minimum, and use more of the track, you could go sub 23:40

Not that good of a driver.

The Brappuccino gave me that extra boost of caffeine this morning.

Has anyone tweaked the setup any way?
