The X1 Challenge, Crazy Fun!

I would just like to share today's experience of doing the Sebastian Vettel Challenge.

I started with Monza where I got Bronze by 3 seconds, I got Bronze in Suzuka by 0.3 seconds and Bronze in the Nurbugring by 0.048 seconds.
Monza took 10 minutes to Bronze, Suzuka took 20 minutes to Bronze, and Nurburgring took me 40 minutes to Bronze.
It was really hard, when I first turned the wheel, I was amazed at how responsive it was, it was crazy!

The rewards for Bronze got me from level 30 to level 31 with some XP to spare!

I started with Monza because I've read that it's the easiest, I did Suzuka next because although people say it's the hardest, it's my favourite circuit, and I did Nurburgring last, because I'm not that good there.

I will drive the X1 constantly in A-Spec endurance races to get to know the car more before attempting to Gold it.

No no, it's A-Spec that needs to be level 30 to unlock it.

No, I'm going to boring endurance races to practice in the X1, my next race is 1000 KM of Suzuka. So instead of wasting time, I will practice.

Using a DS3 i got bronze at monza. Suzuka will fall fairly soon. My first lap i do pretty well and definatly on for bronze but i always lose it second lap in. Nurburgring is insane.....

I cannot do it...I'm level 30 and tried my ass off, i swear i didnt make a mistake anywhere on the Nurbergring GP and i'm still 1 second off the bronze time. That's about as best as i can do it with the controller...i have no idea what to do..i might as well level up my B spec idiots, beacuase without a wheel it's incredibly difficult..

After bronzing all tracks I thought I was done. Next thing I know, all silver. Then hey what's another 1.5 seconds. Got the gold. Prove to only myself, I'm one bad mofo!

You unlock the event with B-speck, but you still have to do the challenge yourself.

Ya I got gold in monza really fast. But Suzuka and the ring are give me a hard time. I swear I'm driving the car hard enough but I guess not. Still trying to gold them 2. U get so much money! And xp it's insane

You see that run off area in the corners after the first one, use them!

First I tried with pad but I pretty quickly changed to wheel as it was to hard to control with pad.

With wheel I have Nürburgring finally gold and I am gonna try Monza soon as well. Monza should be easy as you can shortcut the second chicane effortlessly. But Suzuka will be hard, very hard

Yea it was great fun, did it yesterday too! Took 3 tries to get bronze in monza and like 10 in suzuka and nurb. And the x2010 is awsome! Bob is owning the b-spec right now There's just one thing in x2010 that is bugging me. Anyone else noticed how the driver holds the steering wheel in cockpit view?

Understandable but if you are a racing enthusiast it will be worth it. But ya this would be insanly difficult with a ds3 I can't even get withen like 2 sec with one compared to my g25

Yeah, he holds the wheel as if he's scared of the car!

Nor can I, It's ridiculous. I got gold in all the licence tests with relative ease and all the other Special events, best I can do in this Vettel thing, on Monza is still 4 seconds off Bronze.

Real Driving Simulator, what a load of #$%@. The X1 never should have been included in the game.

I did bronze monza with a DS3 but was exhausting. After borrowing a wheel to get the remaining bronze. I decided to "invest" in a DFGT. $130 brand new. I use it everyday now.

Also I checked YouTube videos of gold medal runs. Mostly replays, but it gives you reassurance it's possible, and shows the fastest lines to use. I beat the ghost at monza by seconds, the only replay I saved

The Schumacher S on the Nurburgring at full speed with the X1 is my favourite moment of this game by far. My goodness.

Using The Sixaxis myself, got Bronze on Nurburgring and Monza pretty easily, but Suzuka's second lap is killing me. I can never stay on the track for 2 straight laps ffs.

I was actually considering buying a wheel just for this game but that was before I bought it. I'm a little disappointed with how the game is after playing it so no wheel for me.
