The way i won them all was ignore my brain and drive it like i stole it, not pretty but it got the job done with minimal fuss.

No way, i realised very quick i wont be getting Gold on any of them, such is life.

Okay I ran 2:09.732 at suzaka 2:10 was gold
I ran 2:02.432 at monza. 2:04 was gold
I ran 2:07.957 ar nürb. 2:08 was gold

Nürb was most difficult for me. It's has more "edgy" turns, where suzaka is more "swooping".

I'll post a pic if anyone don't believe. Just start with Monza, because nürb can get to ya.

is it difficult to get the gold in all 3 races of the RedBull X1 event ?
I'm still at lv29, so far i've got all gold in special events, except for the first Grand Tour race with the Alfa 8c, that's too hard!

B-Spe'd to Level 35 so got the Red Bull version

Now i'm going back to try the Proper Challenge and earn it .

Last time I spent 2 Days and 15 Hours a Day trying to get just a Bronze on the GP/F Track i got within 1.6 secs once .

This Damm Challenge is hard to do but I ain't giving up on it .

Course it might take me a Few Years to get there :lol:
 
I hate this challenge !!!! But its good to have a few grinding cars now for ASpec full auto and B spec !

Took me 2 hours total to get gold on all 3 of them. The ring didn't take very long and Monza was 4 tries lol. Yes I cut the Chicane !
Suzuka on the other hand costed me bit more then a hour and some head bashing !!! Arrg !! lol

Won't do any racing with those or hotlapping, stupid car lol way to much :P

Anyone with a spare X2010?
 
Finally got myself to lvl 30 and started the X2010 challenges - holy crap is it ever hard! I started with Suzuka as it's the track I'm most familiar with - I kept getting DQ'ed as I couldn't even keep the car on the track to begin with. The first time I made it to the finish I was about 7" off.

Anyway, I got bronze after about 2.5 hours. Going to tackle Nurb next, as seems like it'll be pretty difficult. I want to leave what I feel will be the 'easiest' one for last.

It will be an EXTREMELY gratifying experience if/when I get all bronze. I've already traded for an X2010, but haven't even used it yet. The X2010 I win here will be the one I will treasure.

Gold/Silver won't be anywhere remotely near my to-do list.

If you want only all bronze, it's actually very easy if you have the DFGT wheel (or any other wheel with on the fly settings enabled). Simply give a front brake bias to the vehicle (eg 9, 1 or 10, 0) - and you'll be amazed that by braking all the cardinal rules of driving (ie brake late brake hard and most importantly at the SAME time steer hard) the x1 corners as sweet as a Lotus Elise.


If you don't hv the wheel try assigning the on the fly buttons to your controller. Changing the brake balance will see you an immediate improvement over your lap times.
