The Zombie Diaries

Looks like The Blair Witch meets 28 Days Later, but I'm uncertain of the result. I love a good zombie movie, but I can see why this one wasn't sent to the United States. We like 'em big, bloody, with lots of head-shots and other explosions.

Which reminds me: The trailer there pretty much showed the folks ignoring every rule laid out by the Zombie Survival Guide. That book may in fact save your life...

Please tell me that wasn't Kevin Smith....

This looks like a movie without the special effects to make it appear like actual footage. If this is its purpose, they failed....You just can't do that with zombies....

Wasn't George Romero attached to this film? I seem to recall someone saying that... Considering he is pretty much the Godfather to all things Zombie, given his blessing it would have to be worth a look at the least. Still, you get so attached to the gore-fest films like the last few Zombie romps (28 Weeks Later, Land of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, etc), and the "realistic" stuff just doesn't cut it.

Which further reminds me: There is supposed to be a kick-ass comic out by Dark Horse about Zombies... I've been meaning to check it out...

I think the awesome Zombie comic is by Image under the title "walking dead" but I'm not sure.

That was Diary of the Dead. I also made a similar mistake, and rented this on Netflix. As far as the zombie flicks go(usually horrible  ), it's not bad. I found the Diary of the Dead to be way better though. I ended up buying it.
