Up until 1 hour ago, in Europe, there wasn't a single Megane in the top10. 9 M4s and one VW.

Maybe it's different now but I don't think so.

People keep using the Megane because it's easier to drive than the M4 I guess. If you have an M4 and can push it a bit, you should at least keep up with the Meganes.

Suzuka? yuuuuup.

Personally I think TT Cup > Megane, it flies thruogh corners and still faster than the bulk of MR/FR cars. And my experience that just about every damn Megane driver (9 out of 10 times) is terrible (or super aggressive). This was one of the worst:

My 458 time would have started me 3rd in that race.

Those times look normal. The Megane isn't the only car that can do those times.

I don't think anyone would say the 991 is not popular, I think several people are saying it's not the fastest car in Gr.3.

This. I’ve used the 911 since day one because I love the long gearing and the feel and noise. It is very strong right now but I get beaten all the time by other cars. It’s certainly not streets ahead like the Megane and scirrocco once were. Nerf it down and it won’t be able to compete. Fine lines I suppose (in BOP).

Not the best driver in the world, but at the moment in group 4 there are more M4 than Meganes. I'm a bit suspicious about this (look at the avatar), but I don't care If the M4/Megane are overpowered, it can be easier to drive, but a good driver can be a pain in the a** with less powerfull car.
Other scenario...consistency (constant???), I won a race in sport mode with a gr4 Lancer in Brands Hatch (only have 3 wins or 4) where the top drivers were about 1/2seconds faster in qualifying, but with the overtaking and less than perfect racing lines by them (and a bit of luck), I was able to win.
Look for the example...zzz_pt showed in a different thread, that he won with a AMG Gt3 in a grid full of Porsches or M6 don't remember. Why? He is a excellent driver, and was pushing an "inferior" car to the limit.

PS: Yesterday in a group3 daily race, penalties without hitting nobody, and got pushed out of track and got about 20sec penalties....wtf...
