Common sense, within the past of days and the increase amount of the copys on the users the "rarity" variable come down, take day 0 numbers and day 100 numbers and you get the function, its proportional.

edit: ALSO you can make two graph distinct in one the curve of "clean" users and other with the "dupers". Maybe you get interesting graphs.

I would be glad if Duppers wouldnt play online! Then GT online would be more special with rare stuff, Im sick of seeing gold chrome, silver and rare cars every kid have! 👎 hope duped cars will be detected and deleted, it would be even better if all cheater would be ban from playing online! then they could dupe theyre cars alone forever! 👍

PS dont understand people who says GT career have to be grinded.. lol Im level 33, never tried race again same event! lol and I have many endurance left 93% overall. thats funny how cheaters always try to defend their selfs! its the most fun to read! thanks for the funny stories

How do some people not understand that having something rare makes some other people happy?

If I own a car in real life, and only 6 were ever built (ford MK iv '67 let's say)... It's gonna make a huge difference to me whether there really are just 6, or if someone finds a few more in a warehouse somewhere... Value will change immensely, and regardless there's a personal feeling of knowing that not every idiot on the block owns one too.

The point is it would have been nice, or at least different, if some cars in the game had a similar quality and would either take a long time or a lot of skill to aquire.

I want to drive a car that I paid for when I bought the game. It doesn't make me any faster or allow me to complete the game any quicker, I just want to experience the car without needing to grind for 4 days straight, which takes no skill and just asks for far too much time.

Actually, it's not. I have all the 1000000+ cars in the game. I think I only miss the Mark IV, one of those useless Viper Orecas and a few colors of X2010, but I can live without those.

I simply can't stand the irritating little snots going on about how trading is cheating and how everybody should play the game their way. And if they can't have an X1, then nobody should... It's childish, irrational and detrimental to the s/n ratio on this forum.

What the 'cry babies' can't seem to understand is the people they are really irritated about (the big organised dupers) already have pretty much everything. I've not been very disciplined (only 1 PS3 and 2 accounts), yet I've still managed to get myself all 3 X1's (though I did win those fairly) F2010, F2007, 3 FGT's, every LM car, all the DTM's, around 50% of the JGTC cars, and a whole heap of other rare cars. Anyone with a couple of PS3's and 10+ accounts will have everything.

I doubt anybody said a word about trading... Now, duping on the other hand... Seems like PD doesnt seem to think too highly of it either.
But, yeah, good thing you're being level-headed and rational about the whole issue. And don't resort to personal attacks.

I'm now on 93% completion. buying regular cars aren't accomplishments but finding a really rare car (or chip) is, especially when you were waiting for that.

Imagine that you were one of the few that had the formula gt few months ago, it was a really rare car that only the lucky ones had. Now you can buy it from the online dealership.

Before that, ppl would trade the most expensive cars on that. now its worth 4kk Cr.

Same thing with the golden chrome and other rare chips, i've seen ppl trading very rare cars from the ucd on the silver chrome when it was rare, now every one has 50 of those.

those are the little things that can make a game really interesting, adding self accomplishments to it.

go play World of Warcraft or better yet, Final Fantasy XI, looks like you'd love that kinda stuff since you can actually cockblock people out of rare items in those games (and then of course there's the insane grinding making any task an "accomplishment").
