So what if Mods dupe? The Mods have the same right as anyone to play GT5 the way they like.

I know Mods who will not dupe or trade with people who they suspect of duping and I know Mods who are quite happy to dupe. I don't see why they should be any different to anyone else.

Get a life and start investing your energy in to something useful

Im not threatening GTP in any way! but I am very dissapointed with some of the moderators work! alot!

Did you even read the definition.
Duping is not normal gameplay like I've said 1000 times it's working around a friendly system.
Duping gives you an advantage because you can keep making lots of duplicates of the car for yourself and "trade" them for even better cars. There's loads of endless things you can do with duping which will give you an advantage. Also it makes the game easier for you and your friends.

Cheating dosen't just mean a faster car or modifying a car.
Face it, you're cheating. You know it.

GTP has always been a dictatorship. Jordan sets the rules and we all follow them. This was made very clear before you even chose your username.

GTPlanet is going the wrong way.. and It was one of my favorite places to visit some time back..

You'll find that not only have I been a member here longer than you have, I've been a moderator here longer than you've been a member. Flooding/spamming has always been looked on poorly here and you were guilty of it.

I tried facing it, realised im not cheating its just driving skill that helps me win, so I dont know it

But as I only encounter moaners on GTP never online racing im happy to sit back with my popcorn instead now and laugh

Because it enables you to use better cars in GT5's A-Spec mode. Yes, it doesn't work that way in multiplayer lobbies as those can be restricted, but, going by the definition posted above, that's not exactly necessary to call it a cheat (that's the way I understand it, at least).

An advantage can mean making the game easier, it can mean getting more of a certain thing, it can mean alot.
For instance you need a FGT and your mate "dupes" you one. He was never supposed to still have a FGT for himself.

Err... that's not me being mad... I can get a whole heap more mad than that

The career part of GT5 is a piece of piss without duping... other than golding Suzuka and Nurburgring in the X1 event there is no challenge unless you specifically make that challenge for yourself.

Completing GT5 is just a matter of patience and time... duping just reduces the time it takes to get the cars that you want to either run hot laps with or race your mates on line with... nothing more than that.

All you need to do to get a FGT is run 5 dream car championships, accumulate 5 million and then buy the car from the seasonal dealership... it's not difficult to get, just takes time.

I duped to trade for cars so I cold acquire them @ a faster rate. Good thing I did because or else it would take forever to acquire the cars above the limit or I may never aquire them. How many times have you had a car in the UCD & you didn't have the credits for it? Right before the last update I was saving up for the Toyota RSC '01 & it was in my UCD. Just when I had enough credits to go buy that car the update took place & the entire UCD changed. Just like that the car was gone & I was a bit perturbed but that didn't stop me from trading for it through the marketplace. The car I received was more than likely duped & I don't care.


Bottom line, regardless of how many or whichever cars I may have I still have to do the races & drive the cars in the races.

I see it more as a gray area when it's applied to GT5 because one still has to drive the car in the races.

I find it comedic that you seem to be taking this hard line about if people are cheating by duping cars.

What I find comedic is that you're attacking me even though I haven't said anything bad about duping. All I said was it was cheating and the definition proves I'm right. Stating a fact not a negative.
