Forza...wow. Got it for $29.99 at SamGoody's and it is just...amazing. The feel of the cars is much more realistic in my opinion compared to GT4. In GT4, the car is stiff and seems like it never moves. In Forza, you can "Feel" the body roll and the movement of your car as it takes a turn. I also notably liked the braking. If you go into side view in a car like the BMW M3 race car or any other race car or car capable of 180+ and you go top speed or close to it and slam the brakes, you can see the rotors turn glowing red and how it effects your braking. The graphical detail is equal to GT4 and better in some cases. The interactivity with the cars is somewhat better than GT4 (just no photo mode). Being able to paint, decal, vinyl, and upgrade your cars is very fun for personalization. The selection of cars also makes the game fun. The sound and audio is MUCH better than GT4. Every car sounds unique and grat. the 'Ring on Forza is alot better than GT4's I think for the following reasons:

Much more scenic detail (notice any new BUILDINGS in Forza where the GT4 start and finish line was?).

The road/grass detail is much better.

I could go on and on, but I have to get back to playing Forza.

Its nice to see that this thread influenced another person into Forza. :) I think the first post pretty much covers everything. I added one more at the end today about Forza physics. Way more realistic than GT4.

i considered about buying the 360 plus forza 1 and then later forza 2.

i got 2 question about forza 1. is there cockpit view? and can i use my LOGITECH WINGMAN FORMULA FORCE GP steering wheel?it got usb connection.

Yes there is cockpit view. I dont have an answer about the steering wheel. Once you play Forza you will have a completely different look towards any other racing game. THey did an excellent job with Forza. One of my top favorite race car games ever. They physics are just awesome. đź‘Ť
 
no actual cockpit view like PGR3 with the dash and everything though, but what do you expect its an Xbox game not a 360 game. Not sure about your USB wheel, probably wont work on a regular Xbox, but you would have to try it on a 360 cause I dont know.

what do you mean "no acutal cockpit view"??

cause i love racing games to death and i want realism. i know there is GTR for PC, but i want to play on ps2 or x-box.

so, what do you mean with that view? can you show me a screeny or somthing with cockpit view?
 
I would hope so, It would be nice if that was the new standard for the next gen racing games.
